I always love the greenhouse in the Forester models. So roomy and so much visibility for the driver. Last I had was a 2003 that lasted me many years. The greenhouse and that driving feel, wow. Feels like it was on rails and chasing itself around a corner when it turns. Fun cars for sure.
I bought one two month ago…she is my camping rv…has so much space to sleep in :) excellent all around and the lack of power is not felt at all. That s# tune makes her scream
do you sleep in the back of it ? How tall are you im curious because im around 6`4 and i think I`d barely fit probably
@@FuryfistX i'd say i'm 5'9 but i did buy a portable mattress from amazon that is about 75 Inch length. basically to fit it perfect i just push the two front seats a bit to the front which i'm ok to do. the seats in the back fold perfectly flat so over all its very nice and comfortable and plenty of space.
@@forester333 oh so the 2nd row really fold flat then. It is great to know. And do you think you can put a little longer mattress? Thanks for the info !
@@FuryfistX yep 2nd row folds flat and the mattress i was able to fit is 38 x 75 inches (with pushing the two front seats towards the front a little bit. that mattress fills it fully.

I love the green. Wish they had the green in the sport trim level. Think it would look cool with the orange trim. I think the sport trim is the sweet spot in this line up for what you pay for and what you get for most people.
Euh... why does the steering wheel jerk when he starts the car???? I've never seen this before
Whew @ that CVT droning. I dated a woman years ago who owns a Forester and I hated driving it simply because the greenhouse is too damned tall, yet always thinking “If I wanted a roof that high, I’d drive an 80’s conversion van.” LOL - Although I’d never want a modern Subaru (and especially anything with a CVT), it seems to be a nice vehicle for its target market.

When i count it manually, it only cost 8 or 9 seconds
U would not drive this car for 0-100. It is for rough roads n weather like now with that generation blizzard

I really wanted to buy a Wilderness, but what Subaru calls the StarTex interior my dad HS in his 1972 Opel GT.
Back then everyone called it VINYL.
Furthermore I simply couldn’t get past the 1990 Gloomy Grey or Boring Black interior colors which are more than 33 years old.
Every automobile manufacturer has been shoving either Gloomy Grey or Depressing, Boring, Drab Black interior colors down everyone’s throats for more than 3 decades . It’s PATHETIC.
I opted for the Forester Touring so that I could get the Saddle Brown leather interior.
My Forester actually looks very nice with Bronze exterior and the saddle Brown interior.
A LOT of people have said that it looks Classy.

Sorry, but these transmissions have GOT to go. Otherwise, I dig the engine.
I prefer a traditional automatic over a CVT, but Subaru, Toyota, and Honda have gotten much better with their CVTs and CVTs in general save gas. The good thing is that there are plenty of vehicles in this segment that still offer an AT instead of a CVT.
