Got excited for you when I saw the notification, as I thought you made a match through searching. This truly is golden information, and I thank you for sharing with us.
While star notes are easily collected, have a fixed budget, and go into a bank and get like 500.00 in $5.00 bills, your almost guaranteed to find something in some fashion.
Great information. You will have to keep us updated on the results of the auctions. Off topic question, you often talk about value of notes and reference a book. Can you tell me what the books title is? Thanks.
How can there be duplicate bills? I thought the first bill printed, was damaged and not able to be used, that is why that bill is re-printed. Does that become unaccounted for printed money? You know like the people doing the printing can make off with money and no one is the wiser?
Not exactly. There are 2 printing facilities. One in DC, and one in Fort Worth. Fort Worth puts a small “fw” on the notes. The Fed told both locations to print notes about a year apart. A miscommunication caused both to start with the same number. Even if you pair the serial numbers, one will have fw on it.
Got notified of a match. Talking with the other owner but not much working out so far. Other owner doesn't want to sell. Just wants mine for their collection 🤔🤔🤔
I’d sell it to him for half of what you think your pair would be worth. The last one I saw was asking $25k for the pair. I would think $9500 would be about right for all the right reasons as a starting point. But that’s just me. Good luck! Congrats! And keep me informed.
Great question! I have been asking this question ever since I made this video. Everyone says to save them because they are worth money but no one buys them. I would suggest contacting the 2 biggest tourers of these notes. You can ask Blueridgesilverhound or Kingdom currency to buy them. Kingdom has said they are worth $30-$60 recently so he should be your first choice. Both of these TH-camrs love saying stuff is worth money. I would simply ask them to put their money where their mouth is. Good luck! I have over 100 of them so if they buy from you let me know! I would love to get $3000 for 100 singles.
The success depends totally on communication. Finding a twin for the $1*2013B needs a very wide network. Here's an idea, why not list the last 4 digits of the $1*2013B you have and ask viewers with similar last 4 digits to email you? Myself, I have only 2 of these notes, both are FW. (7155 and 4979). What do you think?

Excellent video, my friend. I guess it's like someone (or group) trying to buy the lottery by buying more tickets than the odds.
At those prices, I can’t afford not to sell.
