How dare you. This comment will be very funny when Kamala is elected for 2nd term in office after she fixes America. And boosts economy and frees Palestinians to come top America and live our dream with us.
What about the Blood eagle punishment, done by the Vikings. Where the victims were placed in a prone position, their ribs severed from the spine with a sharp tool, and their lungs pulled through the opening to create a pair of eagle "wings". That must be up there aswell
tickles should have been higher because there are stories of people getting their feet soaked in water, then they would let the goat lick the feet until they reached the bone.
Exactly… I wrote the same comment and came across yours… I speak French, the suffix -ette refers to something small (in a cute way, even worse)… so it’s a small « cute » place where they toss people to hear human interactions and smell the delicious castle cuisine and forget about them 🙂🥲 I’m blown away
Also fun fact, there isn't much proof these oubliettes were actually used to throw people in. Castles had narrow chambers like this but they were more than likely used for drainage or waste instead.
The oubliette reminds me of a case a cop once told me about. A family went to their beach house and noticed a strong smell. They discovered that a thief had tried to rob the house by entering through the chimney like Santa Claus. He couldn’t get in because the entrance was too narrow, and he couldn’t get out either. He ended up trapped and died from starvation. They told me they could see the marks of his fingers, scratched on the walls, as he desperately tried to escape. I know he was a thief, but that kind of death... I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
@@Sheriff_GrimLaw He wasn’t dressed as Santa. I mentioned Santa because seeing someone enter through the chimney reminded me of either Santa or the wolf from The Three Little Pigs. The thief just wanted to enter the house but got stuck in the chimney, and since the house is only used in the summer, by the time the family returned, the thief had already died. English is not my main language, so I apologize for any mistakes.
During King Henry VIII of Englands rule, there was a torture before death, whereby the victim would be placed in a huge vessel of water and gradually boiled alive. Apparently, even Henry couldn’t stomach this so he outlawed it
I find it hard to believe that Henry VIII was upset at anything involving torture. He once had a cook that accidently food poisoned some people so Henry had this poor man boiled alive. See???
@@PigeonsPie1No, he was a cook in the royal kitchens who deliberately poisoned the King with laxatives as a joke. Henry was not amused. This punishment was specifically conceived for this particular instance: it wasn't used generally. There were plenty of other horrivle punishments available.
@@MrBulky992 If that were the truth, I still find it hard to believe. Death as a punishment was not hard to find. To do something like that as a 'joke' is illogical to me. That's literally risking one's life 'to be funny.
It's pretty weird. If you search TH-cam for Scaphism, there's a video about it uploaded a month ago by 'Echoes of History'. Is that a 2nd channel by this same person and they made that video before this one, leading us to eventually finding that one later? Coincidental.
Blood Eagle too. having ones back peeled of its skin and muscle, then the ribs separated from the back bone to pull the lungs through and sit perched on the shoulders isnt my idea of fun.
Ancient Chinese language called "Oracle bone script" has about 20% of the characters describing how to kill and cook a human for dinner. This video fails to scratch even the surface of it. "Painful" isn't the right word here. For example, "卯“ means cutting a human vertically in half, "用“ means chopping a human into small meat chunks, “刊” means hooking a human up, and skinning him alive, "䜴" means beating a human to death with a giant club, "沉" means drowning a human, "膱" means smoking a human into meat jerky. The list just goes on and on. And because the killing is performed as a ritual, and the ancient Chinese believed the louder the screaming, the more clearly the gods would hear, so all the actions were performed to living human beings or animals.

What about the Blood eagle punishment, done by the Vikings. Where the victims were placed in a prone position, their ribs severed from the spine with a sharp tool, and their lungs pulled through the opening to create a pair of eagle "wings". That must be up there aswell
It was made up by norse poets.
Most painful punishment 2024:
TH-cam demonization. 😂😂😂
tickles should have been higher because there are stories of people getting their feet soaked in water, then they would let the goat lick the feet until they reached the bone.
I hesitated to click this video because now what the hell else will the algorithm recommend in my feed?
You forgot to mention the 150 one "FAILING IN EXAM AND HAVING TO SPEND ONE MORE YEAR IN THE PRISON."
???????????
Sitting through 2 hours of a math lecture should qualify for a spot on that scale at least.
12:01 bro was really asking for it 💀💀💀
That’s exactly what I was thinking….
Props to the guy who time travelled to experience all these tortures and give them numerical pain values 🥰
Love the clips from A Chinese Torture Chamber Story and Ichi The Killer, haha!
The only reason stepping on Lego isn’t on this list is because it is too graphic and wouldn’t be allowed to put on this list…

Fun fact: As a french 2 student, the torture device “Oubliette” is similar to the word “oublier”. Which means to forget.
😞
Also fun fact, there isn't much proof these oubliettes were actually used to throw people in. Castles had narrow chambers like this but they were more than likely used for drainage or waste instead.
This ain't a pain scale. This Is "I'm scared of" scale

You stole that story from Gremlins!
Why is a thief dressing as Santa?! 😂
@@aloysiodemedeiroswinter4150 No, I'm sorry. I read it wrong. My bad entirely. Funny story though.
YIKES! Thanks for the video!!!
Not me willingly clicking on this video and watching the whole video about punishments
Well yeah that’s kinda how TH-cam works… you willingly click on a video and then watch it😐

See???
@@PigeonsPie1 yes I know, but because he witnessed himself he couldn’t stomach it
@@PigeonsPie1No, he was a cook in the royal kitchens who deliberately poisoned the King with laxatives as a joke.
Henry also used disembowelment and kept alive to watch your "privy parts" being burned.
Seriously those who created this is so very evils and heads full of toxic.
Wow.
That's crazy.
Some of those are truly horrible.

Unironically a form of psychological torture is playing the same sound on loop for hours upon hours, specially if it's not nice to hear
That animated guy looks like Link Neal.
I can’t unsee it
Saw this last week. Look up Scaphism. That should've been top of the list.
Facts
I thought this re-upload was going to make it #1
It's pretty weird. If you search TH-cam for Scaphism, there's a video about it uploaded a month ago by 'Echoes of History'. Is that a 2nd channel by this same person and they made that video before this one, leading us to eventually finding that one later? Coincidental.
Why not I'm always up for learning something new...
Omg! I actually commented that my vote is the boats 😂. I've never heard it called scaphism.
Blood Eagle too. having ones back peeled of its skin and muscle, then the ribs separated from the back bone to pull the lungs through and sit perched on the shoulders isnt my idea of fun.
Thanks, I'll be sure to test these out!
Thanks for giving me ideas
