This collector was fooled by these 2 people and couldn’t find a way to contact them. Or maybe just didn’t want to pay them for help. She was able to find my contact info and sent it to me instead. I was honest and did my best not to blame her. I put the blame DIRECTLY on the people she quoted in her letter.

I finally found a Where's George last week. No one had logged it for over 3yrs.
Stu, there is a star Minneapolis FRBN $20 coming up on Heritage. They claim on 27 known. You need to get that brother! I scored an Atlanta FRBN $5 star there last week.
Thanks for the currency education.
Overall favorite is the $1000 Travelers Cheque. That eagle is awesome but it's from Dennis. Super cool. Great pair of R & S notes. Thanks for sharing!
What a great Colonial note - 18 Pence and the mention of King George III even still in 1776. Awesome history Stu thanks for sharing.
So it’s value basically kept up with inflation 😅
They don’t print star notes anymore? I had no idea. Why?
They are no longer required to print notes in order. Stars were used as space fillers to keep the numbers correct. They are still printing stars but I don’t know what they will use them for.
Cool notes, was not aware of many of those, thanks!
Oh my goodness! Well, now that you’ve got me totally jealous, Lol….. I am so thrilled for you that you have this awesome collection! Also, I love hearing the stories behind the notes. I’m having enough trouble finding star notes around here let alone a specimen. Oh well, I like the hunt and I’m collecting bc I like to. Blessings always my dear friend!! ❤️🙏✝️
I remember going to Hawaii on vacation with my parents as a small child. My parents are old school and still don't trust paying for things with a debit/credit card instead they pay everything with cash. Anyhow, instead of paying cash for things in Hawaii which makes logical sense they opted for travelers checks - I will never forget having to wait everywhere we went as my mom dealt with people not knowing how to accept them as payment.
great set! Thanks for sharing.
Cool Stuff! 😍 👍
An interesting group of notes. I have a few of them 😊
Great list, I loved them all. But the #1 Spinner choice is amazing! I collect fractional and trying to get a set all in 60 epq or better..every printing. I haven't got the specimens yet, but i sure do like gawking at them! ❤thank you for the show as always, one of the best on youtube! Well for me anyway !💯❤❤❤ i could talk currency all day all night 4 life.
Gob bless you! I learned soooo much from this video. I’m slowly getting into currency and I have to say it’s because of you. Thank you 😊
Cool set my friend, love the ABNCo and Gioris👍 I just picked up a Leonardo daVinci Giori test note
Some of those are really impressive. I like the ones from the American Bank Note Company.
Great stuff!
Really cool list! Some of the most interesting parts of the hobby are the not generally released issues.
This guy! Wow! The “God bless” is just sad and frankly gives actual people of faith a bad reputation. He clearly has no religion or sense of right and wrong. The fact he has no conscience is evident and I hope your videos steer folks away from his eBay store. Thanks for another great video 😎🤙🏼
My conversation with him in the comments shows just how clueless he is. He thinks the seller sets the price. If it doesn’t sell, he may consider lowering it but he says he is targeting long term investors. Yeah, right!
@@Stuplubakcurrency this guy is 🦇💩🤪
I offered $105.00 for the hell of it, offer declined of course.
I’m trying to find a $50 gold seal, how much is one that’s around a vf 20
It’s on my list as well. About $550.
@@Stuplubakcurrency I’m seeing them on eBay for WAY over that and I don’t know a good place to get one without getting basically robbed
@@trugojo-is4cv That’s exactly why I don’t have one yet.
I love national currency' notes great job
Good information
Thanks!
60006000 a bill flipper
You look in the BOOK 🤪. 👍
Hey! That’s my hometown 😂 Doing good work 👍
I had put the valve at about $125, and maybe make offer. So we are on the same page 😊
Spot on value.. spot on. I would have said 90.00 to 105.00 is a fair price.
His comment would be ,” It’s the American Way”…. “ Greed Is Good”, the Wall Street movie… This guy needs the sale because when you look at the products he is selling, what comes to your minds eye??😮😮😮
To be fair, even giving it up to 20% more than what those books say making it $140 to $220 for a purchase price, he might have been believed as honest.
That’s what this seller doesn’t understand. Of course he should ask over book. But SLIGHTLY over. Not 3x!!!
“Irrational National”! Love it!
Good job explaining how to identify the devil’s face features on the bills. Now I can spot the variety.
But wait! This is NOT a date back or plain back. It is a rare "Stain Back" ! lol 😆 Thanks for pointing this stuff out to the community. Always pays to do your homework. 👍
Stain back! Ha!
I use them and then keep all inside a vault box as well. Never had a problem with damage.
That is amazing I didn't think any would be around that means someone kept this in the 1770s and was saved for 248 years that is honestly amazing also Stu I was able to get my hands on some Cuban currency and I have a one Peso note that was printed by the BEP would you happen to know anything about that also I have a extra 10 if you'd like it for your collection Cuban money was hard to come by at least in my experience it took a couple months to find some
I’m in Vegas right now. Remind me after July 7th.
@@Stuplubakcurrency will do enjoy your time in Vegas
Awesome as always, great content!
Wow what a magnificent find!!! Thanks for sharing! Blessings always! 🙏❤️✝️
I have been collecting bills on a casual basis. If I see something that I like then I will put it in my valise of other old or unusual bills. I enjoy watching your channel and I have picked up some new insights into bill collecting. While I wouldn’t call me a serious collector, I do occasionally use your channel to help me build up my collection.. Thank you for your information and also insight into collecting paper money.
So what is a note like that worth?
Mines probably around $1500
I have used the same note holders as well.
I love this lifestyle
Years ago I bought three rolls of each quarters for my son's birth year from the US mint. They came in a box with PVC roll holders. They never seen sun as I only opened them to verify. I then put them directly into the safe. I'm not sure but guess they stayed that way for approx 12 years. I had pulled one of them out opened it again and to my surprise they were all getting discolored on the outside coins. I did not open the rolls to see how far in the damage had gone. I felt it was only the first or perhaps the first two outside coins on each end of the rolls. Checking the rest they were all the same way. That was a total of 30 rolls. I took them out and found another method to store them. It may not affect paper money that way but with coins apparently there is a chemical reaction that occurs over time. I feel you should correct your statement about coins only being affected if in the sun. It's simply not true.
I am no expert on coins. I have a handful and haven’t bought one in over 5 years. I do get a lot of cross over from coin collectors. When someone says they looked through a microscope at a dollar, well… many things don’t translate. PVC is one of them.
@@Stuplubakcurrency I Just don't want someone to be misinformed and damage a potentially good coin. I've learned a lot from you as paper money is a recent change in my hobby. Due to my eye sight getting poor from age.
@andydroid9782 I hear ya there! I certainly hope no one would take coin advice from a paper guy. PVC damage is well known on coins. No one has ever brought me a note to show what the damage would look like on paper. Believe me, I would love to call out eBay scammers saying their PVC damaged note is a rare error! But I’ve never seen it. I don’t even know what it looks like on paper.
Great video
The PVC coin flips do not need to be in sunlight to start breaking down. It's a time thing. I wrote to BCW just last week about this subject (weird huh, still have the email) and their response to me was, "The rigid PVC used in our currency toploaders as well as other BCW toploaders contain no plasticizers or stearates. Our high quality PVC does not migrate and will not harm your cards, photos or Currency, while offering maximum protection and visual appeal. They are indeed acid free as well." Thats right from BCW customer support. So yes, they are PVC but not your standard garden variety PVC. It's pretty amazing that those notes survived for this long. They certainly are a part of this country's history. Nice
Very cool Stu! You inspired me on a purchase so I will email you later. Great video 😎🤙🏼
I tend to cost people a lot of money lol!
Stuplubak Currency that 1988A 1 Dollar Bill From Chicago G 80101241 G has a poor tear that someone rip it definitely need that bill get sent back to the bank Do Not Keep That Bill for your collection it isn't a keep for anyone.
10k subs shortly 🎉
My guess about Future Stars is that they will be released on Numismatic Collectible Items purchasable directly from the BEP, like Uncut Sheets, or some other new concept they think up.
Very cool colonial!
