I don't know if I have a miss cut note or fake it has a slightly larger border and the back side has like smear ink and a partial finger print.

Is there a chance of a video about grading and cost of grading bills?

I should send you my list Kearney Coin Center has several bills listed at +50% to +60% the going rate compared to HA recent sales. Most of the HA bills were higher grades as well. However, that guy was on Polar Currency's channel talking about Nebraska nationals. So doubt you'd be willing to oust him. Granted they're genuine bills and graded but its still a scam if you're charging $1200+ for a bill thats worth $500-600.

Please do a update on these auctions including comments and sales.

Makes me wish that I had the ability to manufacture a Whitman-like folder for currency. It would be something like Fun and Savings with Serial Numbers and common issues in currency. The folder would list things like Quads, Trinaries, Broken Ladders, Where's George, teller stamps, etc. If someone filled in every space with a $1, they would have saved $100. I would make it clear that what this folder is for is to educate people on some cool looking things on currency, that really doesn't make it worth more than face value, but if you save these, you could bolster your savings account, or purchase a bill that actually is worth something.

There is some deception here. To know, and explicitly express that these notes are worthless as a warning for the uneducated novice in the Numismatic community. is a noble thing to do. But. There Should be some legal ramification when you accept the money……..

Great episode as usual ❤ that was kinda cool listing those items to make people aware, very good idea! A level of scamming i see very often and its rarely talked about, is i see a bunch of dealers on ebay specifically, they will buy notes on ebay, clean the notes and then try and sell them for more. And some of these dealers have 10's of 1000's of feedback, so they have the audience and they do take advantage of that. I have a keen eye, and nose and i can tell when they wash these notes. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if they bought them and sold them as they were, but to clean them and then say they are AU, its not fair to people that just dont know. Its just pretty scammy in my eyes. Again great esposide!

Because you are a collector of note: The buyer of these items could call them the worthless collection assembled by you. So, it follows that the collections value, if they remain intact could grow in perpetuity as your prowess grows as an authority. Hard to imagine, but the artist is that last to know how rare his smears of paint really are.

How is this scamming when the bill is an error? You should probably get your information straight before you make a post with false claims. I'm very disappointed with the information in this post. I was hoping for more facts on currency and errors not 24 minutes of repeating the same thing over and over. Also, do you ever post any facts or proof these scams you speak of are actual scams.I feel like this is just another page to spread nothing knowledgeable and senseless information just to get views. Another very disappointing page with false information just to pull you into the video.

The ol' "Double 3" error, huh? Good thing the serial number had a blank space in the middle for the "error" 3 to slide right in there. Also, how would an inked numeral "appear" _"during the cutting process"?!_ The laws of physics would preclude that, I think. Nice moronic touch that his description points out the note is _both_ "circulated" and "uncirculated" - just like when my sister was "pregnant" and "not pregnant" at the same time.

Actually, Steve, your 1954 Canadian set is not "complete" without a $1000 note in rose pink. Not cheap at high grades, though you can get a modified-portrait example for around Cdn $1,250 or so, depending on the signatures, in VF-30 condition. Good luck finding a Devil's Face though - graded VF-30 wouldn't be less than Cdn $5,000.

Agree with not using What Not. I have seen bidders on TH-cam channels bid an item up beyond its apparent value just to support the channel, which helps with the cost of worthwhile GAW's and administrative fees. And as in any auction, on-line or in person, some people will not back down no matter what, as they see winning the item at any price as a personal honor. Of course that is nothing like the scams you are calling out. And of course, people can do whatever they want--overpaying for an item and/or giving their money away, either knowingly or unknowingly. But it is indeed unfortunate that some people don't see that they are being taken. As a personal experience with a very sad ending, at one point many years ago I was selling a used motorhome in good shape worth about $14,000. I had a buyer who was retiring and wanted to purchase it. He gave me a deposit to hold it, while he sold some "assets" he had purchased on the advice of his financial advisor. As background, I have been a coin, currency, comic book, and stamp collector since I was a small child. I was horrified when he got his "assets" from his safety deposit book to sell. He had many nice older US stamps that had some value, but he was scammed by not knowing the value of condition. The retail price on each stamp in each glassine was for a perfect Never Hinged, Mint, perfectly-centered example, as listed as sold in one of the national major auction houses. The gentleman did eventually purchase the RV after liquidating some stocks, but I felt so sorry for him--he had gotten bilked out of at least $10,000 of value on his low grade stamps by buying into a collectibles market without knowing what he was doing.

One thing the site doesn’t mention is five or more trailing zeros. Such as 74300000. I guess they are pulled to use for testing.

I checked out some fancy notes on an auction site, I was screaming at my computer! They are just making stuff up and the brain dead are paying 😂😂

$50 is also a huge difference between 69 and 70 grades when the difference could actually be as much as $$150-$200

The coin shop I go to sells foreign coins like that for $4 per pound, and individual coins for anywhere from 10 to 25 cents depending on condition, age, and face value. And serial numbers like those... wouldn't sell them. This guy is awful.

Oh my stars! I could tell her right away when he started talking that all he wanted to do was sell stuff and get money. He didn’t care what he had if it was worthless or not he just wanted to get some money. And I don’t mean to be rude to the unknowing people that bought the stuff and then the one that didn’t buy anything but it’s like PT. Barnum said there’s a full born every minute if this guy can sell these things and people are buying nothing I have a whole lot of nothing that I can sell them! Ha ha ha unbelievable oh my gosh, this is giving me a headache. I've followed some Pawn Shops that have YT channels and have real rare coins and currency and would go to what-not when they have plenty to sale, and I still don't bother to join those lives. The scammers of this video I hope they get called out on their lives.

So sticking any type of currency in a plastic holder increases the value?? Just shows what a joke this was. Thanks for exposing the scams.
