    Hey I’m not into Diet by much means, anyway by any means necessary I just want to show love. That being said I made it here because I’ve watched several videos about oats. Been in the conversation for years now and I finally found this video today to help me prepare my oats. Thank you, this is a great tutorial with instructions and ingredients very well done. Perfect, in fact, I love it and I wanted to add that I used banana extract instead of vanilla as well I used maple syrup instead of sugar free or no calorie. I used a ripe banana with slightly expired chia seeds and slightly expired cinnamon powder. I used 2% milk although I drink any type of milk and I’m so freaking excited bro! Let’s get it. Great work.

    I’ve tried making this and yours come out the thick texture that I like. What brand do you use? For oats?

    • @TheDietChef

      I use Old Fashioned Quaker Oats

      Oh, BTW, if you like it thick - just add some extra chia seeds 😉

      chia seeda just give you more fiber, it shouldn't change the taste that much

    I wanna try this but before I do I don’t want to waste any oats.. can anyone tell me how the texture of the oats are after 8 hours in the fridge? I usually go for creamy and super broken down if that makes sense

    Do overnight oats need to be sealed or can I just put leave them in a bowl?

    • @TheDietChef
      @TheDietChef  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question Lucas. You don’t HAVE TO, but it helps keep the moisture inside, and helps get them to thicken up a bit more
