I started experimenting with oats now and came up with an Apple pie oats recipe. Its just oats with cinnamon with a spoon of either cream or plain yoghurt, some apple (i like to grate it into the oats) and then salt and then whatever sweetener like sugar, syrup or honey. It can be cooked oats or overnight and still tastes awesome

"Old lady activities" WELL, last night was a Saturday night, so I spent the evening spinning wool into yarn while I listened to an audiobook with my two cats curled up next to me. I am an actual, literal spinster.
Sounds great! Still learning to spin. Oddly, I had great success with an Aztec spindle style where you load up the wool and just twirl the whole device instead of trying to pull out a strand. Of course, my sample wool was a beautiful outrageously long Romney, that helped!

I made this (with variation) and I already had all of the stuff, and it was literally so easy. As someone who isn’t old enough to have tons of knowledge about cooking, they turned out amazing. Definitely going to do this in college next year or later in my future because it made mornings so easy.

@@SebastianoZanda You can substitute most of the expensive stuff for cheaper and accessible stuff. Also, a lot of the stuff is just flavouring, oats and the milk (or even water) are already enough to do overnight oats.
ok so if you dont want to add all the expensive stuff just mix: 3/4 bananas, not to much milk, quick oats, cocoa powder, the type of sweetener you prefer and refrigerate it
I don't mind all the expensive stuff, but we just simply don't have most of this shit in my country. One type of oats is apparently enough for russians.

If anyone wants a very simple recipe because you don’t have those ingredients or can’t afford them: - Mash up a banana in a Tupperware tun - pour some oats in - pour in some milk and mix it until you have the consistency you want (add more oats/milk if necessary) - i add some golden syrup or honey to sweeten it - you can also add in some spices eg nutmeg/cinnamon for extra flavour Hope this helps 💞

There are many things you can eat for breakfast that are good for you. Eggs, nuts, yogurt (all good sources of protein to start your day) and fresh fruit. I prefer hot oatmeal with a medium consistency. So not too gloopy, but not too thick. Sometimes I’ll add fresh fruit with my oats. Quick oats take about 10minutes to cook on the stove. But overnight oats are a good prep to take and go in a pinch. If you wanted them hot, pop it into a microwave until heated and eat. (Make sure they’re in a microwaveable container)
You can boil your milk and then add your oats and some water if it’s too dense. I like them with cocoa powder and sometimes also alone . My mama puts quinoa in hers for energy and additional nutrition value, but when she doesn’t she adds apple sliced in cubes 🤗 Depending on the consistency you can drink it or eat it as a pudding
I like to make what I call "CinammonChoco" Overnight oats and it's REALLY GOOD it's coco powder, cinnamon, a TINY scoop of peanut butter, milk, honey, and oats. It's great! You should try it Cristine

ok so if you dont want to add all the expensive stuff just mix: 3/4 bananas, not to much milk, quick oats, cocoa powder, the type of sweetener you prefer and refrigerate it
I don't mind all the expensive stuff, but we just simply don't have most of this shit in my country. One type of oats is apparently enough for russians.

I make overnight "oats" with chia and hemp seeds. I may try this recipe with those.
(If it's a gluten allergy, Red Mill and some others sell uncontaminated gluten-free oats... but if it's not that, sorry man. Also, I mean... they're expensive. But if life's taught me anything it's that everything is expensive when you're allergic to stuff and/or trying to be healthy. ;_;)

If anyone wants a very simple recipe because you don’t have those ingredients or can’t afford them:
- Mash up a banana in a Tupperware tun
- pour some oats in
- pour in some milk and mix it until you have the consistency you want (add more oats/milk if necessary)
- i add some golden syrup or honey to sweeten it
- you can also add in some spices eg nutmeg/cinnamon for extra flavour

There are many things you can eat for breakfast that are good for you. Eggs, nuts, yogurt (all good sources of protein to start your day) and fresh fruit. I prefer hot oatmeal with a medium consistency. So not too gloopy, but not too thick. Sometimes I’ll add fresh fruit with my oats. Quick oats take about 10minutes to cook on the stove. But overnight oats are a good prep to take and go in a pinch. If you wanted them hot, pop it into a microwave until heated and eat. (Make sure they’re in a microwaveable container)

You can boil your milk and then add your oats and some water if it’s too dense. I like them with cocoa powder and sometimes also alone . My mama puts quinoa in hers for energy and additional nutrition value, but when she doesn’t she adds apple sliced in cubes 🤗 Depending on the consistency you can drink it or eat it as a pudding

I like to make what I call "CinammonChoco" Overnight oats and it's REALLY GOOD it's coco powder, cinnamon, a TINY scoop of peanut butter, milk, honey, and oats. It's great! You should try it Cristine
