I got gunfighter II for Xmas, it’s a beautiful toy. Had some trouble with the hand but after that got replaced. He is now a centrepiece on my shelf. it’s why I’m so hyped for their armada Optimus!

The MB-01 Archenemy version does not have an opening chest and matrix nor any guns, just for those curious.
Definitely going to pick this guy up. I have a strong love for G2 Laser Optimus. He was one of my first Optimus Prime toys gifted from my late aunt. I loved this guy so much I ended up buying a SECOND one after the head popped off somehow. My outmost respect for the hours of fun he provided and to this day one of the best(for me at least) Optimus Prime toy designs.

One of my favourites in my collection. Loved the original G2 Laser Prime and this is such an amazing update. I also like how they didn't try to update the transformation too much and instead kept it simple.

@@SixoTF Exactly. I do like more complex transformations like on Generation Toy's Op.Ex but if they did that here it wouldn't make sense at all.
Really enjoying these. I've recently gone 'fuck it why not' and joined in collecting transformers. It's nice to know characters who wouldnt have got much spotlight(even though this is probably well known) keep up the good work as its interesting to see which you pick next

Man, my fist, and so far only, 3rd party figure was Fansproject Comera. She looked awesome, and posed nicely, but unfortunately the ankle sheared off after the first time transforming her. Not a great first step into 3P figures.
Fanshobby does make a good product. I have their version of Powemaster OP and Overlord. Really like that battle station trailer and that huge gun he can carry. Might have to look into purchasing. Great video btw
Are you a fan of the original Laser Optimus, because I know I am. I love those big shoulders, it makes for a more imposing Optimus Prime
I have one request, and that is, when you talk about scale, please include some sort of visual reference in the photos. That diorama background in particular, while it does look cool, removes any point of comparison for how large the toys are.
Arthur Hill good feedback, thanks! I typically do try and include some other figures for comparison but didn’t in this case so appreciate the idea.
I have an idea for a 3rd party line, that being figures that look EXACTLY like the G1 toys (missing the symbols of course) but with more articulation.
nightlypiano41 I always thought it’d be fun to see someone make some of the G1 prototypes that never were made back in the day.

Probably not, my dude. This thing is skilled for Masterpiece figures, but you could probably make it work. Me personally, I'm a huge fan of G2 Prime and he could fit anywhere on my shelf.
