I've always been a huge fan of the G2 Optimus design, and it's nice to see a company giving the design its proper due! Having missed out on the Chaos on Velocitron set (and that OP mold having kinda questionable engineering, especially with the wing storage in truck mode), I'll definitely be picking this guy up.

fans hobby is putting out really good figures. I have them all.
I'm not going to lie, I want to see this in G1 and 07 movie colors, with the G1 colored one getting a WFC style battle axe and the 07 movie color one getting arm swords and an All Spark

Christ, what a gorgeous truck mode.
I much prefer these style of hips to the hip skirt style of hips, it just feels more true to the cartoons.

Looks pretty good. Better than what Hasbro gave us in Titans Return & it's recent box set release.
At this point, most of these figures are better than Hasbro's stuff.

This is an MP style... what do you expect?
Well we are dealing with figures that aren't mass-produced and like 3 times as expensive so I'm not sure what your real point is.

If Fans Hobby produced an MP G2 Megatron, it means they could also produce an MP Reverse Convoy, which would be so outrageously awesome.
Considering the chest opens and the number of of possible options for the chest decoration - I wonder why they didn't consider several chest options. Perhaps is they popped off then they could put another couple in with the trailer.
I'd not mind at all if they made a Laser Ultra Magnus too.
The mould might be a bit to expensive to throw out a Shattered Magnus, Optimus, Combat Hero Prime (Blue) and Toxitron as well though.
Considering the light up gimmick is where he gets his name from not including a light is likely a mistake.
Though thinking about this toy did make me realise that it was a small shame that there was not an all white 'Generations' G2 Deluxe made - that would have been a nice thing to complement Laser Ultra Magnus & battle in a Box Ultra Magnus - not to mention providing another alternative cab to haul Energon Ultra Magnus too.

Personally I think Fans Hobby should've just gave Archenemy a dark matrix. It would've been a cool design choice to have it.
Rugalheid Bernstein he doesn't deserve the Matrix gimmick. He's just a repaint of G2 Optimus Prime, nothing more. Not even his name Scourge. it's stolen from another character just like his mould. ;)

He looks nice, but the Squares on the faceplate are the dealbreaker. I've never liked how they looked ever since Classics Prime had them and they especially look out of place on a Laser Prime homage. If they include a G2 head with the trailer, I'll be onboard hook line and sinker.

His vehicle mode is so beautiful! I am a G1 fan. Don't know much about G2. Is the alt mode correct to G2?

Josh Jackson they are, they've shown prototypes for powermaster prime, overlord, and roadbuster at a couple conventions
OMG I can't wait for them especially overlord and I've seen the road buster it kinda looks like long haul from combiner wars LoL

The scourge is a much better, more cohesive look and colour scheme than the garish gunfighter 2.
Cardboard Bots That's just a repaint. A stolen mould with a stollen name with a lame cartoon got built around it! Laser Optimus is the real deal!
Scourge looks sooo much better IMO. G2 prime looks like the person painting the truck just gave up and the side steps look out of place. G2 prime doesn't look as good as g1 or any of its successors..... except TF prime (pukes). As a figure scourge looks like a badass.
