I seems there were a _lot_ of people who didn't know much stuff this game had going on.
It's like a majority of Sonic Team's ideas mixed with a low-budget GTA ripoff on the app store and a tiny hint of Mr. Bones. Also, Mexico, I guess.
Looking back I think it's super impressive how they got a pretty decent version of Stranglehold down on the PS2 with this game
