My aunt went to school with Matt Groening, and she told me Krusty the Clown is based on a local children's television show clown host named Rusty Nails. You can google that if you want. It was aired out of Portland, Oregon. Which is the state I live in. Which is the state "Life Is Strange" takes place in! Is everything coming together or falling apart?!
Oregon was also created as a racist utopia and was the last state in America to allow African Americans to live there. Also Rusty Nail is a old school drink as well.

Oh my god, I loved this game so much as a kid. My Dad gave it to me because he was a major Simpsons fan. He watched the show religiously and even tried to be Homer. He was heavyset and loved to drink beer and had tons of Simpsons merchandise, he even took us to see the Simpsons movie. Unfortunately he died on Christmas two years ago of a heart attack. R.I.P. Dad, you were the best Dad and Simpsons fan to me.
My absolute favourite thing about this game was the rare moments when you would kicked something and the physics engine would just lose its shit. It always happened with the chairs in Flanders' back yard because a single kick would always launch them like it was Smash and they had 300% damage, and sometimes if you got Milhouse from the right angle he would just fly straight up in the air and not come back down for like 15 seconds. It was fucking hysterical.
I feel like this and the Simpsons Wrestling game have no right to be amongst my favourite Best Friends episodes of all time, and yet I can't get enough of them.

Fullassult Futurama is so rife with math jokes that one of their writers created a theorem based on group theory, for use in about 30 seconds of comedy. That writer, Ken Keeler, has a Ph.D in applied mathematics.

31:05 Pat got two different moments confused on that prank call. As someone who quotes the Simpsons multiple times a day, I feel compelled by forces beyond my control to correct him. In Pat's defense, these are two weirdly similar moments: In 'Cape Feare', Lisa thinks that Moe is the person sending threatening letters to Bart, so she calls him up and says " Hello, Moe? We know you're the one behind this, so knock it off, or we're going to the cops!", and Moe goes into the back room and releases a bunch of pandas from crates. In 'The Springfield Files', when Moe discovers that the two people Homer brought into the bar are FBI agents, he goes into the back room and insists they take the killer whale back to SeaWorld.
I would so not be opposed to Super Best Friends: The Simpsons Era where every game they play is the simpsons and all they talk about are simpsons references
