Even with the mixed reviews I think it still looks fantastic for the size of their development team. $60 seems a little much for it but the way I look at games is if I'm going to get even 25+ hours out of it it's worth it if I'm having fun. I can look past small glitches and issues aslong as they're not ultimately game breaking. I'd pay $30 to go to the movies for 2 hours of entertainment. I think we have become more aware of developers having us over in recent years with promises unfulfilled and awful releases but I think it's made many of us at the same time overly sceptical and picky on things that really are quite good. Great review, thanks for sharing your thought
With as much detail and depth they put in the game 60$ is the perfect price for this game people are way to quick to say something isn't worth 60$ these days like we haven't been paying 60$ for the last 2 console generations this isn't new news . And if you keep up with the dive in dev videos you can clearly see it worth 60$ weather you like it or not without any bias
i think the problem is every game is now compared to other games. so if $60 gets you X game that you absolutely loved and got tons of hours into it, but then its still $60 for Y game, which is less (to them), people cant comprehend that. I like what I'm seeing from these reviews. even the Cons, im like, yea, not a problem to me. I was going to buy this game regardless, but I do think $60 is a little steep for a lot of people. Mainly because it seems like the type of game you need to play in order to see if it appeals to you or not.

I got this game through the mail on Saturday. I love it. It's just such a fun game and bright and colourful and just something that bit different. It's not a game to be taken seriously. It does have a little bit of everything. The best I way I could describe it is a mix between Horizon:Zero dawn/ Devil may cry and Ratchet and Clank. I've just finished RE:Village and Returnal and this is such a welcome break from dark and serious tones. If you want a good time, but this game.
Great review, glad to see it's not an absolute train smash. With Village, Days Gone, Exodus EE I think something colourful and more zen might be what is needed to end off May. Also always appreciate when smaller studios do something original
I'd say it again and again. We don't need so many open world games. Especially the one's with a very barren world. I'd rather have a hub like Resident Evil Village or Dark Soul's Undead Parish than a simply gorgeous, yet empty, world
I'm impressed by what I've seen so far. Considering it's made by a small dev of about 20 people, I'm going to support them. It's like Returnal...it is so impressive how a small team managed to put this together

It's games like this where they really need to add a "monster population" slider. It would be annoying to have too many when you're out doing quests, but when you're just exploring maybe you would like to have tons of enemies around.

Yeah, AA games of today are the AAA games of yesterday
With as much detail and depth they put in the game 60$ is the perfect price for this game people are way to quick to say something isn't worth 60$ these days like we haven't been paying 60$ for the last 2 console generations this isn't new news .
