The bolt/nuts markings is a common motorcycle trick too. If the underbelly is really clean, you can put some silicone on the nut sides, to stop vibration movement. Obviously loctite, torque ratings, are needed
Great tips guys…..what a great idea to use the yellow markers…genius! Congrats on the completing the gibb 👏🏻 I love your set up it looks great 👍🏻 even nicer once washed 👍🏻 you didn’t show or mention what you used to lower the tyre pressures is it them tpm things ? dippy egg on that beautiful beach…priceless 🙌🏻 what a great video I really enjoyed it and the info about the water and fuel stops…..we’re only going to the gibb river free camp site…..you showed us on the last video hopefully we’re be ok for fuel and water. Thanks guys safe travels awesome take it easy 🤗
Hi Guys, glad you enjoyed our tips. For the tyres we just use the ARB attachment that we use to air up the tyres, we just don’t have it attached to the compressor, it gives a pretty accurate reading and easy to use . Safe travels and hope you enjoy it when you do get to do The Gibb 🤩
haha! 40psi is what I drive around the city on! Lowering tire pleasure in the outback is a total city slicker 4wd wank. Running them hard is why you had 0 punctures. The transport bullshit to justify costs is another Aussie wank. Companies shipping fuel and groceries can easily offset long haul costs with short haul costs. Next time you're under there checking shit, don't wipe the nipples... (like wtf) grease them... particularly on the drive shafts. That's what REAL 4x4 people with no mudflaps do. Broome is an expensive tourist shithole at the best of times, I'm surprised the police didn't come and fine you...
That’s exactly why we didn’t go too low, who wants to keep getting punctures. The ride was good because normally these tyres run on between 55-60 PSI so reducing to 40 did make a significant difference, plus we also adjusted the suspension….We always clean first then grease up, which we did after we jet washed. Cleaning off the dust was for filming purposes so the viewer could see the yellow marks, we knew we would be coming off the beach later to clean and grease (obviously we don’t film absolutely everything otherwise the videos would be 3 hours long)…….You’ve done that mud flaps gag before on our Secret Springs video……They would have to be up pretty early to catch us 😜
