Some notable differences:
Sonus more output than Analogman due to the Jimi mod.The 1968 packs a bit more punch.
Both have a nice germanium tone with the Sonus a little more trebly.
Analogman battery only. Sonus DC-IN and battery operated.
Sonus original cicuitry and values, Sun Face has some different values and non original board.
Bias dial on Sonus seems to make a bigger difference to the sound than on the Sun Face.
All in all I'd say 2 excellent fuzzes with the Sonus being cheaper and equal if not better in quality. Waiting period is 2 weeks shorter as well. Certainly looks nicer IMHO. - เพลง
Sonus! Played the 68 recently. Completely delivers IMO.
Man, I really dig your pedals, I am a vintage pedal / component addict ..and what your making sounds to deliver way more than what the big corporate guys are doing . keep up the amazing work

The Sonus has some serious old school tone! It really does nail those early Hendrix early fuzz tones. The analog man sounds a lot smoother which is cool to but that Sonus sounds filthy good.
Great! I was waiting for the comparison video with the AnalogMan, I have to say they really sound close, it's hard to tell the difference. If I'm going to buy a fuzz I'll definitely go for yours :)

The 1968 seems a little darker, maybe? Both sound good.
Maybe wrong way but that Analogman at certain settings sounds unreal

I'd have to go with the Sonus 1968, to my ears it gives you a more smooth "musical" flowing tone.

That Sonus is the BOMB! Not sure if you played around with the internal trim pot on the Analog Man? Sonus sounds like it has a little bit more headroom volume? Seems to be driving the amp harder?

good vids,and there one thing i mind. i think red dot sunface is darker than the white,so why a red dot 1968 will have more trebly than the white sunface?it's the matter of cicuitry?or the red dot 275 you used in 1968 is not same with sunface's?

The Sonus sounds more spitty and gated like a Tone Bender to me. The Analog Man sounds like a proper Fuzz Face should.

Hey man this is a bit nowhere but, you know Dunlop just released a Band a Gypsy fuzz and it doesn't sound as near as the 69 woodstock/live at fillmore east tone. Do you think one day you will built a pedal like that? It would be great and I'll for sure buy one. Thanks man.
hey man, yes it is ready and will be for sale from mid march. as of now the 69 silicon fuzz is only for sale in pedalboard friendly enclosure with bias function.
