Could you answer a quick question for me? Ive just finished building a FuzzFace clone and I'm not sure if its built correct. When I turn down the 'Fuzz' pot the volume decreases to nothing, is this the way the real ones work?
The guts were made by Albert Kasleder ( www.kaslederfx.com/ ) years and years ago in a different enclosure. later on I moved it into this grey box. That's why the messy wires under the board.
These are not the same transistors found in the original 1966/67/68 fuzz faces As a matter of fact these really aren't even NKT 275 they are re-stamps of a CV transistor A very sloppy re-stamp to boot, In saying that Sure these have become known as 275s why? I don't know? i guess analogman gave them creditably , In short all the info you have gave on these is misinformation. You need to take a minute and look at an original NKT 275 from 66/67/68 and you will see plain as day they have a completely DIFFERENT font!

NKT 275 and you know what not a single original NKT 275 to be found. key word original......i feel sorry for you. so easily fooled. let me add all i have to do is put in completed sales and i can see what was sold so lets do that. Yes ! That is correct you are only drecreasing the gain
