    As I commented (below) I have two of these NKT275 white dotted and yes they are worth every penny....In fact you will be sooooo spoiled that other fuzzes just wont make it for you after using NKT275 white dot......It's just an entirely different (better ) animal

    Are you running the deluxe reverb cranked? When I use my red dot sunface through my 1964 deluxe or my reissue 68 deluxe. The pedal is not really useful at a practice volume. I've only got great tones from a orange amp with gain already cooking. But these are the tones I'm after with the fuzz

      Thanks a lot for the question. The amp was on the verge of break up & the EQ settings were pretty flat. Are use and attenuator to help control the volume 🎸🎛

    Bollocks!!! 1000 pounds is mad lad money!
    Excellent playing. BTW, I got my Gypsy Vibe in the mail today and played all day, feeling deeply impressed by its tones and how cool looking it is. Have y'all ever considered giving the option to your buyers to pay extra for an expression pedal jack/output whereby the player can control the big black knob's setting and having the black knob's current setting be the maximum speed setting for the expression pedal to control? I would buy another gypsy vibe if you offered this. In my opinion, that option would make your Gypsy Vibe almost perfect. Next, add Stereo input and output options. Finally, include a 3 way switch that selects what the expression pedal controls, volume, throb or big black knob, with the knobs' settings being the expression pedal's max control. In my opinion that would be vibe PERFECTION.
    I would pay good money for a vibe with these options.

    I’m about to pay 1200 pounds for one of these but I gotta say -the tones I hear from this thing both cleaned up and full balls out on many rigs with many different combos are the best I have heard and only rivaled by some tone benders (in a different way) and high end tube amps. There is a reason they are so popular. May not be worth what they are selling for-but your money is safe -they are not gonna go down.

    • @timeagan893
      @timeagan893 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Johnny...I dont say this lightly but when you get and use the Fuzz face you mentioned (Analogman NKT275 white dotted) that you pay $1200 for you will find...It was worth the money and if not you are not using a strat or have an amp that is not quite right so before deciding you made a mistake Go to a music store find a fender strat ....then find a older Marshall superlead (plexi or early 4 input metal front 100 watt. plug strat into FF (with an old carbon comp battery (alkaline will work but the older carbon batteries sound better......If that Marshall and strat combo w/ the ff does not sound great.....respond to me here and i'll buy the fuzz from you myself

  • @timeagan893

    I have one of these (Analogman NKT 275 white dotted fuzzes And also a 1st gen Sun lion (Sun face w/Beano boost) which also has NKT275 White dotted (with both sun face and on the Beano boost treb booster) So I seem to be sort of spoiled I guess because almost every FF I ever try Just don't make it for me...a few sound ok.......one other fuzz I have and like also is a Old Vox tonebender with OC81d transistors.....I will occasionally use a FF with BC108c Silicon transistor when I'm looking for even more aggressive gain (ALA early Pink Floyd (ECHOS on meddle album) or I'll also use BC108c Transistor when i'm outside or in a hot club (temperature sensitive) All I can say is The Fuzz face is an instrument all to itself and holds an amazing amount of usable shades of gain....(If I had to, I could use a fuzz face "on" through a whole show and just vary the vol.knob (for the clean up) These fuzzes work best when "fuzz" is full up accept possibly when using a silicon transistor version (that has a bit much gain already and "fuzz" knob can be dialed back just a little. Actually most of the people I see trying a fuzz face that say I just don't like fuzz...I find are not using it correctly. First of all Fuzz faces want to be FIRST in your signal chain and if not THEY WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY PEDAL WITH ANY BUFFERING BEFORE THEM. For a wah to work correctly before the fuzz the wah has to be "fuzz friendly" in that it has a little buffer in it....I know this sounds counter to what I just said about using anything with a buffer before a fuzz face...But this is the one exception because if the wah does not have a buffer and is placed before the FF it will No#1 Not give the proper wide "WOW wow" it will be more like a "weu weu" OR No#2 will give a shreak self oscillation type feedback......PS If you have any Fuzz face questions "
    reply to this comment" and I'll try to answer them for ya

      Which analog man sun face will sound best for an extremely low gain fuzz? Not rolling my volume knob down(, but with the pedal itself turned down?! I like just a hint of sizzle when I play!

    Got my Sunface around 1997. It's the slightly larger box 4.75 x 3.5 with the jacks on the top. After 2007 the boxes were 4.5 x 3.25 with jacks on the side. It has the TI UK transistors. My other fuzz is an early hand painted Monsterpiece NPN fuzz, which is closer in tone and drive as the NKT 275. In the early 70's I had a silver Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face, but probably traded it for a bag of weed.
