    Nice review. Mitsu's are underrated in the USA by snob car media who understand not everyone wants or can afford a BMW.

      Daniel Marrett i actually sold my BMW to get a 2015 Mirage ES. It isn’t as fast or polished as the BMW, but it’s more personable and great on gas. A lot less to break as well, although N52 straight 6’s are nearly bulletproof in the 1 and 3 series.

      @slothypunk 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      not really, you can drive hybrid and you get better gas mileage. If you can get this for dirt cheap tho it would be worth it. for the msrp asking price, however, there is better option out there with better everything for just a bit more money

    That three cylinder gives you a V6 sound without the V6 thirst (or performance lol). I could listen to it all day.

    I love my mirage. I can truly say I have no regrets with my car purchase. Just averaged 45 mpg mixed driving highway and city. I got 48-49 mpg all interstate going from Kansas City to silver city New Mexico going 70-75 mph. Would buy another in a heart beat

    • @chadhaire1711
      @chadhaire1711 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a city car NOT designed for 70/75 mph, and at that speed you never saw 48 mpg.............48 mpg at 60 mph perhaps......get real ...

    • @chadhaire1711

      you block traffic at 55 mph in this state and other drivers will shoot your tires out.....

    • @djkenny1202
      @djkenny1202 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good reason to avoid THAT place. Here, we have a civilized 55 mph limit most areas. Too many states are 65, or higher (TX) which in return means more pollution, more burning of gas, and people simply exceed it even further. Biggest mistake CA made in the .80’s was increasing from 55 to 65. Every time I go there it’s a bunch of inconsiderate Douche bags driving 80 plus mph.

    • @chadhaire1711
      @chadhaire1711 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Guess your time isn't worth much--mine is.....80 mph all day.

    Thanks for the vid. Love that sapphire blue color. Mirage is a great inexpensive runabout. I had a 2014 in kiwi green. Miss that car a lot. It was rear ended and totaled out. I miss the cheap running costs and easy maneuverability and ease of parking. I live in the city.

    Thanks for this video. I just purchased a 2017 with 58K miles on it and so far I love it! Yes, it's underpowered and not very quiet, but it's reminded me of the joys of driving a simple, basic car without all the bells and whistles, and filling up the 9 gallon tank is a nice break from the 26 gallon tank on my pickup. If I can get this car to 100K miles or more, it will more than pay for itself.

      Still have the springs installed. Ride is firm is the rear. Get 4 people in your Mirage and look how squat it gets in the rear. Mine don't do that. Slow speed large bumps sometimes over extends the rear shocks, but has not damaged them.

    IF you ever see this 'Johhny'...what does the 10yr/100K mile warranty cover? JUST the drivetrain? OR the entire car? Or what systems? I keep thinking I MIGHT buy one. BUT it will be 1-2 years old. They are like 1/2 the price at the 2 year mark, and have next to no miles on them! Even on the top trim. I would prefer the lest 'loaded' level, but i am the one person I guess that LIKES a CVT. But I understand it needs frequent vale adjustments? I never knew a car needed that anymore. Since the 60's? Someone said it needs' frequent' Syn. oil changes..for $60. But Syn. oil changed on your own, is like $35! Its no big deal. But that valve adjustment is an issue I dont like. Is it true?

    • @JohnnyMullet
