That is a wonderful place! Io sono originario di Parma e non sono mai stato in quelle zone, ma dal video la casa sembra sia spettacolare. Congratulazioni.
Not to sound weird, but when I saw the view I cried. This is my dream. Ugh so envious of you all and Bob and Gina. Gorgeous house, Gorgeous view, GORGEOUS LIFE.
Bob and Gina, I just happened on this (and then your subsequent cooking adventures with Kara and Nate) this afternoon and said (to myself) "Hey, I know those two!" We met one (long) evening when we took a bus to a dinner arranged by Dwight Stanford. Hope you are doing well. We are heading back to central Italy in June with a group of 60 of our closest church choir friends to sing in Florence, in Rome at the Vatican, and the Amalfi Coast. Hope all is great with you. Kevin from Kansas City.
OMG. my daughter lived there for three years because her husband was stationed in Vicenza. I did not expect to love Italy as much as I did. She did not live on the base, but rather a small town Ponte di Barbarano. I swear I left my heart in Italy. I was able to spend six months combined time there with all the visits I was able to make. We were between Colli Berici and Colli Euganie. But were able to travel to Livorgno to camp Darby and visit the American Beach. So amazing is your country! I loved everything about it. Oh. And Venice...oh my!
I lived in Italy for 14 years and never experienced anything amazing like this! You're so lucky indeed! I watched your first video about a year ago about your Trans-Siberia train trip and caught back up with you two yesterday and have been binging on you both for two days now. I've been to many of the countries that you've traveled to and am reliving my travels along with you. Thanks! Oh and Cara, you remind me so much of a dear former colleague and friend of mine.
What gracious hosts, Bob & Linda! Enjoy your serene Italian country getaway. I love how overly excited the dogs are whilst the ginger cat just nonchalantly strolls past, unbothered by your presence.
who is here watching their 100th documentary and restarting their whole channel from vlogs 1 to now. and saying "so this is how they know BOb and Gina... these are the famous Bob and Gina"
This trip to Europe is quite enjoyable to watch - in fact I like it a lot better than the sponsored content before, because you two seem way more relaxed and natural. Oh yes, and that location really is awesome... Thumbs up for you!
I know I am wayyy behind but so excited. Have been a follower for the last couple of years . Been watching the old vlogs and enjoying the new ones as they came out. Kept wondering how you two became acquainted with the lovely Bob & Gina. Love that I finally encountered the story. ♥♥♥
Ya'll are so dang cute!!! Thank you for the giggles during this pandemic mess, much needed!! My favorite lounge 🦎 lizards. So happy your home and safe!!!
I've had this video in my "Watch Later" list for a couple of years and I never realized this was the introduction to Bob and Gina! Geez, you both look so young!
So happy to have found you guys!! Heading to Rome and doing a countryside trip in October but to have such hospitable and lovely hosts is truly an unforgettable experience! Excited to become a daily watcher :)
Wow. Absolutely stunning. Watching alone in my house and I said out loud "oh my gosh that's beautiful" when you first panned over the view from their home.
Your comment about not having any food on the train....brings back my trip through Italy from France to Brindsi Italy....my friend I was traveling with told me to not by food or water at the train station in Paris and also told me to keep my money in Francs and that the train will have a food cart - there was no food car and when I tried to buy something at a stop out of the window, he would only accept Lire. We were on the train for over 24 hours and back then I was not into fasting.....a lady gifted us her bottle of water.....always follow your own guidance :o)
Not to sound weird, but when I saw the view I cried. This is my dream. Ugh so envious of you all and Bob and Gina. Gorgeous house, Gorgeous view, GORGEOUS LIFE.
What a great place you are at, drone footage I hope you are getting now that will be awesome. How special your hosts are and what great scenery and sunsets. More please
Oh my goodness ... I really would love to travel to Italy!!! The food y'all have shown looks so good. My twin sister got to travel to Italy because of a course she took at the university she went to. The one evening the girls she hung out with found a hole in the wall place to eat and from what each person liked the kitchen made them a pasta dish. Kind of jealous but she had an amazing time. From watching the number of videos now my sister and I think we are going to plan and save so we can travel but as competitive Irish Step Dancers we are going to travel so we can visit a country and also experience a dance competition in that country.
this is so wonderful and inspiring! we've been fans of yours for a while and are avid travellers ready to stop saving every year for one trip, and to just get going. there are loads of nomads out there, but we love that you two still focus on tourism too. keep up the good stuff and safe travels. - h&c
I backpacked around Europe for a month over Christmas break and it took a solid three weeks of extensive train travel before I figured out how to find the right seats! It can definitely be confusing. And also there’s always a frantic rush of people running to get on the train, even if it’s not leaving for another ten minutes which just adds to the chaos!
What a beautiful home you are going to be staying in but we think you are going to have to change your arriving for trains by adding at least half an hour as you don't want to miss them and they wait for No one ha ha stay safe
Hi guys, I found your beautiful channel by this video of Marche Region. I'm Italian and I do really LOVE this part of my wonderful Country. I totally agree with you. It's really a paradise on earth... Little by little I'm discovering your channel. What a wonderful job you made, guys! So inspiring!! I'm a new subscriber. Good life guys! Hugs! Renata
What region is this? My daughter lived in Ponte di Barbarano between Colli Berici & Colli Eugenie. We used to eat at the farm restaurants in the hills. And the wineries, oh my gosh, filling up containers with wine directly from the vats was amazing!
Just found your channel last week and LOVE IT. I think I randomly found it either watching Amtrak trip report video or Casey Niestats vlog. Love watching!!!
WAY after the fact, but I have to toss this out there... you want to be certain you are in the correct carriage because at the stations, some of the cars split off and go somewhere completely different than the rest of the train. Don't ask how I know that... long long long story. LOL! I had also forgotten about all the steps to get down to the metro system in Rome and Paris! London is the best by far.
"Because everyone else is!!" I laughed out loud. Kara is adorable! I just found your feed, I can't wait to follow you adventures. My husband and I will be in Italy in just 2 short months!
one of your best episodes by far. I'd be happy there selling eggs on the side of the road. Until then I'll keep commuting to Manhattan every day. booooo!!!!
My God....what a house ! The view is unreal ! I know you two will enjoy the visit. Looking forward to seeing the videos from this house and property. Curious as to why the left the USA to live in Italy...job?
Y'all are too kind!! You did an AMAZING job making our hillbilly home look beautiful. We miss you but hope you are having fun!!!!
I love that you stayed with a patreon! So exciting after watching all of your vlogs in order from day 1!
That is a wonderful place! Io sono originario di Parma e non sono mai stato in quelle zone, ma dal video la casa sembra sia spettacolare.
