Great information, it's staggering the cost of pharmacy school now. I hope all incoming students takes this into consideration.

This is so sad as I watch my interns, wondering if they will get a full time job after they graduate. The job market is just horrible out there.

Why not get financial aid instead??

I made a comfortable 60k a year salary while taking my prerequisites, I also did 4 years in the air force, allowing me to get GI Bill. This covers tuition in Pharmacy school as well as a monthly living stipend. Do you think it makes financial sense to be a pharmacist if I would have around 90k in student loan debt when I graduate? (I also already have a car, and own my house, with some decent investments)

Gio that is actually very good. If you build strong relationships you will do well both in career and financially with 90k debt. I would say anything under 100k to be a pharmacist is pretty decent. But if you are purely looking at finances, big tech companies would be best.

good job 👏! whats interesting that you actually low balled amounts and have best case scenarios, 80% of the time the numbers are worse than your video

Is 150k in student loans considered normal? That’s how much I’ll be in depth with all living expenses….

Lol At this point I just wanna drop out but don’t have a backup plan so I’m still stuck & the thoughts of going back in August for my second year just make me nervous

I was actually in the same position as you and still am. If you don’t LOVE pharmacy or see yourself in it, don’t do it even if you don’t be have a backup plan. After experiencing different classes and researching and talking to people you WILL find what you enjoy doing. I just don’t think it was worth it for me personally, to stay in pharmacy and spend a lot of money and not have a huge liken for it just bc i didn’t have a back up plan.
Again this is never an easy decision.
