Lmao imagine how much a wedding cost and a real diamond ring just to get divorced in the future that also cost money he wasn’t willing to take that chance. He’s smarter then he looks but cheap af
No cheap is getting low quality things and lifestyle, he is frugal because he still has a high quality lifestyle for low cost.. he eats out and has free vacations lol thats awesome. Thats why i will never take a first date somewhere fancy, if she dosen't have a second date with me then i know it was either about the money or she didn't like me but if you spend a bunch of money on the date she may date you for the lifestyle she thinks you will provide.
@@TylerM633 While that last part is largely true about today's women, I've never heard a man mention his wife so much in anything. She ever cheats he's killing her and everybody
@Tyrel Tolliver that's basically being cheap. By saving money and only spending a little here and a little there. Its kinda mindboggling. Like I spend over 2 racks a month on Bs and Im NOT rich , but theres rich people who spend half that or less and are making millions a year. Again it's that poor mentality mind set that prevents them from living life and spending via self gratification
They are not losing out on anything. They have a very decent lifestyle. They live in a nice house, drive a decent car, go to the movies and eat in nice places occasionally like any normal middle class person. The exception is they never ever have to worry about money
yeah here's a fun experiment, let's try stripping a rich person of his money and see if his "happiness" remains. Cause if money didn't buy it, money can't sell it either right?
Money is like a logarithmic function. When you have nearly nothing a dollar a day could improve your life heavily, but at some point a dollar won’t add any real value. That’s why people with a lot of money say it won’t make you happy, because the value shifts. In some report I’ve read that around 70000$ a year is this limit, above money doesn’t make you happier anymore (depends a bit on where you live).
@@YTartschool my point wasn't "make rich people poor and see if they get rich again". My point was "if you forced a rich person to live a poor life, im pretty sure he's going to be a thousand times sadder and, in a sense, money did buy him happiness or contentment"
I feel like there’s gotta be a limit somewhere... make $650k a year and still have roommates that’s a little ridiculous lol. You aren’t frugal, you’re cheap
Saurabh Dalvi I understand renting the other unit.. but sharing your personal unit with roommates (while married) I don’t know haha. Because these people are lying about how much they truly make. I highly doubt they get asked for their corporate tax return. The only one I believe is Graham. This guy kinda sounds like BS His net is 305k, but he says he makes 600k? So what is it. 300k or 600k. I swear half these people can't do grade 3 math
If you had 50k cash first thing you’d do is buy a new bag and heels along with a car. That’s the issue. When I was 19 I turned 2k into 6k in 3 months by trading small cap equities that surged an average of 100% intraday due to fundamental fallacies and liquidity. Eventually I had 80k and I’ve always wanted to buy a jaguar sports car which was about 40k at the time. But here’s the thing when you invest and become lucrative your thinking changes. Instead of wanting that car I questioned myself and asked why would I spend 40k on a car when I can continue investing my 40k and triple it in a year? That’s why us investors are frugal. We see no benefit in buying luxury items. Why do that when I can continue trading equities and become richer?
Bertin Castillo Im in no position to teach anyone, I learned most of everything I know from observing stock charts, tracking patterns for a year and filtering out the ones with the highest success rate. Cesar Torres It's somewhat of a fallacy though. You don't need to be THIS frugal in relation to what their income is. It's honestly pointless and not impressive either. It's like billionaires saying they still drive the same car or live in the same house. For sentimental reasons sure, but it's literally pennies to buy a new one compared to what they make, being that frugal just doesn't make sense.
That is what I said. He spends so much money on renting his properties. I wonder if he has any mortgage payments on his properties. I do not rent out my home to roommates just to make an extra two thousand dollars. I want peace of mind in my house.

@@hookedmediacarstech1419 If you are having even close to half of your income going to the payment of income taxes in the U.S. then you need a new CPA.
Yea it's an oversimplification as it assumes that people will always be positive with real estate investments. In reality, real estate prices can fluctuate and make you look like you are losing money depending on the market value in relation to your loan interest, rental expenses, property taxes, legal fees, and rental revenue. And I am sure the 615k a year is probably a raw number that doesn't account for taxes and expenses...but clickbait makes money.
Yes, that's exactly the point. Read the Millionaire Next Door, the whole point is to spend less than you earn. Even if you're earning much less than them you won't accumulate wealthy quickly if you blow it all
Everyone has what they make and what they net though. Doesn’t remove the fact that he generates 600k regardless. If u make 5k and spend 1K on rent. U still make 5k, and u probably spend half what u make on expenses anyway too
My friend is a college prof married to a college prof. He lived in the dorms for free for 5 years with his wife (meals are free, too). Small sacrifices early pay big dividends.
@@rainepanda maybe he should ditch the room mates in his duplex and keep the ones in the other duplex and the garage. That should more than pay the mortgage.
Millennial millionaire always exaggerating their actual personal income. His personal net income would actually be around $300k after business expenses aka his rental mortgage, insurance, taxes etc. They are including all business operations revenue as his income. Which is not true.. Should look at his NET personal income. It's 300k.
Mortgage expense is income if it’s covered by tenants. They’re building equity in their rental properties. That being said, I know a few people who lost it all in 2008 because they could not find tenants to cover the mortgage and were over-leveraged.

@Tyrel Tolliver that's basically being cheap.
By saving money and only spending a little here and a little there.
Its kinda mindboggling.
Like I spend over 2 racks a month on Bs and Im NOT rich , but theres rich people who spend half that or less and are making millions a year.

@Tyrel Tolliver is that greed or ambition? He's only 27. Lots of time to party. He has a plan for his life. What's yours?
@Tyrel Tolliver that is his personal choice and I think as long as he's happy about it, let him be
They are not losing out on anything. They have a very decent lifestyle. They live in a nice house, drive a decent car, go to the movies and eat in nice places occasionally like any normal middle class person. The exception is they never ever have to worry about money
You will only hear rich people say that "money doesn't buy you happiness."
yeah here's a fun experiment, let's try stripping a rich person of his money and see if his "happiness" remains. Cause if money didn't buy it, money can't sell it either right?
I just want the chance to see if that saying is true 🤣😂
@@ShunGoukuSatsu1 if you take a rich person's money they'll just make more money- the knowledge to make money always stays
I refuse to eat out with my own money. I want a Tesla roadster.
I feel like there’s gotta be a limit somewhere... make $650k a year and still have roommates that’s a little ridiculous lol. You aren’t frugal, you’re cheap
Not really. That duplex is too big for 2 people. So it kinda make sense to rent out the other unit.
BrokenStatues7 room mates are only a burden when you can’t afford to get rid of them. Having them by choice, is a whole different ball game.
Saurabh Dalvi I understand renting the other unit.. but sharing your personal unit with roommates (while married) I don’t know haha. I mean clearly they know what they are doing so more power to them.

Yea it's an oversimplification as it assumes that people will always be positive with real estate investments.
In reality, real estate prices can fluctuate and make you look like you are losing money depending on the market value in relation to your loan interest, rental expenses, property taxes, legal fees, and rental revenue.
