You got a lot going on out there! It’s hard to do tedious stuff like this when you have distractions and are teaching a helper, you are very patient and kind! Most people I watch in the cussing and throwing tools… It’s nice to see somebody tackle something major and complicated with confidence and Precision this makes me confident in myself that I can do this. I know I could either way, but it’s that certainty that matters. Anybody is capable of doing it, but to have the patience is key
The oil pouring out of the exhaust is normal from it sitting, mine did the same thing, it will clear out and the smoke will gradually stop. That was my result anyway.
I hope you see this comment on your older video. I love the 6.0 keep an eye on those injectors and that oil cooler. Also invest in a set of JIS screwdrivers from Amazon. No longer will you strip a JIS screw on a Japanese engine with a Philips head screwdriver. You can always tell that it’s a JIS screw by the little dot on the screw. We’re also waiting on a follow up video on that jet ski from 6 months back. Learning a lot from you! Edit: JIS stands for Japanese industrial standard, it’s there version of the Phillips head.
Great video. Love bringing these skis back to life. Sounded like you were jumping off the jet ski from your running truck. Be careful some jet ski computer (especially seadoo) will get fried if they get more than 12V. It's easy to strip carburetor screws so I usually use a manual impact to start it and a JIS (japanese) screwdriver. Also it's better for ski pour oil gas mix down the carb as opposed to starter fluid spray.
I know this is an old video, but next time, use a small vice grip on those screws. Not from the top like a screwdriver, but from the side as if it were a bolt. Your videos are really good. Something regular people can watch. It's nice to see people actually FIX things instead of just replacing things. Anyone can do that.
Nice job! A lot of people get rid of the oil tank and oil pump. There's a delete kit you can buy for something like $17 on ebay. Has a block off plate for the pump and some caps to block off the oil injection fittings on the intake manifold. Super Clean in the purple bottle is a good degreaser for cleaning up the engine bay.
Not recommended. If it aint broke dont fix it. Oil pumps are reliable. Your jetting after deleting the oil pump isnt. Just replace the lines bleed the system and verify operation.
The best way to start a 2-stroke like this is by filling a water bottle with premix fuel and poking a small in the lid. Use this to squirt fuel into the carbs to get it running. When using starting fluid as you did the engine is getting no lubrication and you’re running all your bearings dry, or at best with whatever old oil is still in the crankcase. Nice job getting the old ski running. I too don’t like to see these waste away like this one did.
NEED some motivation, got Sea Doo In back yard has rebuilt practically zero Hours, but repair shop was taken way too long finish, so the previous owner picked brought home. but they kept all Impeller and hardware, so I need it. Maybe this motivates me this spring to fix take on the river.
8:30 did it not come with hose clamps? Really a zip tie? I guess for something that small that’s going to be under suction and not pressure. I guess it’s OK if it doesn’t melt… Never seen that done before.
I have the same JetSki at home, ran for many years, it’s currently not it not getting fuel, will only run if we put fuel directly in the carburetor, by watching your video it’s interesting, I am thinking I need to rebuild my carburetor and it will run again, as well as to clean the fuel pump in the carburetor, what do you think?
its a good practice to delete the crank case drain on these 750 engines , its what the pull knob on the exhaust goes to , the are notorious for hanging open and causing an air leak which causes a lean condition , no good
Why? Correctly fitted the cables just provide far more grunt to the whole electrical system..and far longer possible cranking time....in short bursts of curse.
It's really cool that you found a bat, but I wouldn't touch it with your bare hands unless you've been vaccinated for rabies. Rabies is very common in the bat population.
Part II of this Jet Ski can be found here -- th-cam.com/video/I3sbpRJ4QjU/w-d-xo.html

Never seen ants get in the foam like that. I got the exact same hand pump. Used it in my last video. Good job guys.
Right. They terraformed quite a complex home in that styrofoam.
Very nice job 👍🏻

sounds great! keep the good work! cheers from Portugal
Thanks!

The intrinsic value of accomplishing a task has always given me great motivation.
Kawasaki Engine Power!!!

Carb sounds like it's running very rich. For further reference, use OEM keihin parts only
Thanks for the tip.
love the 6.0
What were you doing with the garden hose? What were you flushing?

Likely a carb rebuild will get you back on the water.
what oil did you put in the oil gallon

That is really good to know! Thanks for the tip.
I got 2 like this ,thanks for hopefull pointers
I never had a jet ski before! I’m Alex!
This is my first one too.
Merci beaucoup ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice Vidio respect from Indonesia
Way to go!!!!🎉❤
Well done man👍👍you have good family👪 how are you??
2nd best video on youtube
Does the ski have fool filters?
The filters are on the end of the pickup tubes.
@@JetSkiBuyFixPlaySellChannel nah. They are inside the carb right where the fuel in nipple meets the "float" needle
Гарна робота. Гарні люди.
Have been watching other videos you need a special set of screwdrivers they are Japanese assemble screwdrivers
wow, it's fast
1996-97 Polaris SLT 700 uses the same carb
Those ants just got evicted after 28 years
i'm so jealous!
you got balls putting the jumper cables from your truck battery to that ski. gonna fry the whole ass electrical system
Why?
Correctly fitted the cables just provide far more grunt to the whole electrical system..and far longer possible cranking time....in short bursts of curse.
Sorry but I lost it when bro fell off the trailer
Bom trabalho
Огонь
Why cannot clean 100% carburetor, old fuel mark inside will be bad, and be careful to œil pump will be same dirty
It's really cool that you found a bat, but I wouldn't touch it with your bare hands unless you've been vaccinated for rabies. Rabies is very common in the bat population.
At 5:23 minutes still runs😂 do not use starting fluid on a two-stroke please😢
That's what she said
I like your life and your family sur you baby gril
make sure and delete that oil injection. If it fails it will blow your motor.
Yep. That gives me concern. Might do that next.
oil pump delete a must
Keep the oil tank/intake line in the oil system clean, plus use top quality oil...the system works well.
