    As others said, engine on first, then water. Water off, then engine off. Glad you're bringing it back to life!

    Stock bilge only works in water, It uses suction from the jet pump.

    That trim moter assembly is a Chevy Malibu mid 80s -90 windshield wiper motor look up wipermoters . That S, Steel box at the back is a water box muffler when you're done ridding at end of the day take out of water start up reve up couple times get water out .cut off fuel an run it out same time so carbs don't couroud. Pull out bull plug ledge out tell next time. When u put in water next time ledge tied to trailer in water fire it up work up rev up about half throttle to put under load about 30 sec to one an half min till she runs clean you'll have no problems good job keep extra set of spark plugs in compartment change every season skii on😎

    I dont like the twin keihin carburetor, no many torque vs mikuni.
    Swapp, this carburetor for à single 44 Super BN Mikuni and see amazing torque
    I'm remenber the big change when we swapp for Mikuni 44 vs keihin on old 650SX or X2

    i dont know if this jetski is different from the ones ive owned but you should turn your water off before you turn the jetski off then if your going to start it you just start it up and then turn the water on or it can flood the engine with water and hydro lock

    I have a 97 kawasaki and it is a siphon style bilge pump. So you have to be in the water. There is a hose run to the pump and it uses vacuum made by the pump to suck out the bilge water.

      @JohnBullOutdoors ปีที่แล้ว

      Really good to know! I was hoping that was the issue.

  • @jankemmerer6669
    @jankemmerer6669 ปีที่แล้ว

    the bilge pump is only working when you are driving in the water. the jet stream of the pump is creating a vacuum and sucking the water out

  • @jimjulie1
    @jimjulie1 ปีที่แล้ว

    It doesn’t have a pump, water is evacuated from the hull by siphoning action created when the ski is in motion.

    I would remove the oil pump and pre mix the gas with 1:50. if the oil pump fails you can have engine failure. Greetings from Germany

    Why don't you just go to A junkyard to get that electric motor for the up.&down control part of the trim.& Tilt for the impeller head unit.

  • @johnhicks735
    @johnhicks735 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It would A can save you some money to. Window motor.,or A windshield wiper motor will work in it's place just the same for that part. Try find one that matches yours. By taking it along with you for A comparison part reference. Mitsubishi.& Other foreign type of imported vehicles have those kinds of electric motors on them to.
