Couple years ago I bought a new Holland LX 665 Turbo. Basically this is the model before your machine. I had a similar problem with the battery sliding around and shorting out against the frame. These are good machines but they are an absolute nightmare to work on when the Boom is down. I have gotten in the habit of parking mine with the boom locked up.

It can add a few years to the roof or it can worsen the existing issues the roof is suffering from and rot most of the decking making the next re-roof significantly more time consuming and expensive. Its not a terrible idea but its also not gonna fix every roof.

No, acrylic coatings cannot indefinitely handle standing water. They are not recommended for that application. They will peel in time. Only silicone coatings can, indefinitely, handle standing water. The only downside of silicone is that it tends to hold dirt. I have a commercial building. It has a flat roof. We coated the roof with acrylic coating. It works well except where there's standing water. There it peels in time. If you have pools of water keep an eye on them. When it peels, coat it with silicone coating.

Isn't the first test on the starter relay switch and the solenoid that your wife laughs at on the stater motor? The solenoid kicks the starter teeth to flywheel and starter more turns motor, meaning the starter motor is ok but the solenoid was bad..........

#1 The roofer who eventually has to replace that roof is going to HATE you and will charge you considerably more because of that stuff. #2 Your insurance company may not like that you did that at all.

when you replaced the rear sensors, did you look for damage to the sensor? The rear axles are different, they what is called a reluctor wring on the inside of the CV joint where the axle goes into the hub. This ring gets rust underneath it and makes it expand and essentially chew up the ABS speed sensor. You can either replace the entire axle or just the reluctor ring, which requires your to remove the axle anyway, remove the ring, clean up the rust and install a new ring. That said, a proper BMW code reader will tell you front or rear speed sensor and right or left.

The layered roof tile system allows water to do down hill. With this system, if you get a penetration at the top to let water in, the water will pool up and cause more damage than just a nail hole.

That is a great first vehicle for a young lady. One insurance is lower because of the number of passengers that fit in the truck. Two, this would likely get less damage in an accident than a car. Three, your daughter would likely have less chance for injury in the truck. Most important, it looks good.
