many boats end like this, you never saw scrapyard of boats, rows and rows of boats in forest. in 60s and 70s people started to afford to get a loan and buy them these people where working class, but buying and maintaining is 2 different things. Boats where left in woods, in side road. to mainatain a boat you need money, than you start putting money into it all comes to whait a minute i could buy new boat with same specs without any work investment.

@@rodneyrescott3960furthermore if you look closely you can see he didn't actually end up cleaning those seats properly he just rinsed them off and that's it, you can still see the mould in the before and after shots. A bit of a shame really, maybe the owner was working to strict budget or something?
Great video you’re right the rinse off was relaxing to watch. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE change your music, I’m turning the sound down 📵 now and just watch the cleanup!!!
Hi there , I subscribed for 2 reasons one cause you're the only TH-camr who let's people know the time and day you upload videos and two I wanna see what the boat is gonna look like at the end of cleaning it up . Thank you for the information , I'll see you Saturday at 9 am . You and another TH-camr are the only two who uploads on Saturday's he at 7 am and you at 9 am is the perfect time for me 💯
You do a very grateful job bro. Ur among the few who get something from real dort to perfection. Others only wash what's already clean. Am gonna share this video to all my contacts
Hello, I think the owner let it rot because seeing the condition and the stains he said to himself that it was not salvageable. You did a great job and know the products
I cannot believe a young person like yourself knows about soft scrubs. I used to wash my car every Friday after work. One particular Friday and realized I was out of tire cleaner. Back then all of us pretty much had the white walls or the white lettering facing out. I went in the house and I saw the soft scrub and figured it was better than nothing. OMG I never seen those tires get so clean and it wasn't much effort. After that almost 40 years ago all I have used until this day all I use is soft scrub.
How did you know to restore this boat? Or did this boat just come into your stable? I was wondering what went into the thought process of which items to restore or not restore. Thanks for a good video.
Wow boats are alot of work, i don't think most people think there will be too much maitnenace in them until they get them, not to mention the upkeep and storage fees, marina fees etc. Great job Foster!
Alot of the work can be negated, get a good boat cover, trickle charger (ours is a two bank), we keep our boat at the house. Maintenance is mostly just the yearly water pump/thermostat check up (still run a two-stroke). Marinas charge by the length of the boat..keep in mind if you are going that way. It's a 21 foot center console so not a small boat, neighbor has a 27 foot cruiser on his driveway.
Check the stringers and transom for rot and soft spots before putting in all that effort ? Sitting under a tree usually leads to clogged drain holes and a ruined/unsafe boat.
Outstanding job. 👏👏👏 You made that boat look virtually brand new - and I didn't think that's was possible given the condition it was in When you got it.
Nice boat! I really like the layout. Would be great for fishing and cruising. I am assuming it has a small lav where the door was? Anyplace down there to sleep? Great job cleaning it up. Just needs a little upholstery work. Good as new!
The soft scrub really works wonders on boats fiberglass interiors. Definitely don’t use it on the vinyl (easy to want to) but it will destroy the vinyl upholstery. Dries it out and makes it hard.
It's been awhile but I'm back and I've already watched three of your videos. They're honestly just really relaxing. I almost hate saying that bc I can't imagine all the work you put into doing these plus having to edit everything. 😢 Most of all thank you!
do you ever travel to do any of these details? Have you seen the Fab Rats story about the boat they rescued that had been sitting at the bottom of Lake Powell for 30+ years? I'd love to see what you could do with that thing...
Bleach and a good pressure washer are the best for getting old boats looking like new..this boat is of the deck boat flavor more popular in the southern states than other parts of the us..bit great job sir u always bring all the smoke!!❤
Intensely satisfying to see such work. Detailing is an extremely hard job, but it looks easy in this fast forwarded video. Are you guys located anywhere in Lewiston/Clarkston, WA?
Watching you sweep and vacuum all those maple tree seeds to remove them from the boat was painful. I'd have used a gas-powered leaf blower (and mask) and sent those seeds flying (outdoors of course) and have been done with it in 5 minutes. They fly up in the air in the slightest breeze, let alone a 100mph air stream! Even up out of the bilge. The rest - you nailed it.
Hi, well.done. I am just wondering how many hours most provably days take you until reach this nice and amazing finish in relation of how much you charge for it? Any ball price 1K to 1.5K or more? Congratulations
I‘ll never understand why anybody can abandon such a boat. I would be happy to own one of these. Awesome job on that boat!👍👍👍
video about how I washed the boat after winter

I don't understand how some people just let a $40k boat go to hell
An inexpensive boat cover would have saved him/her a lot of money.
More money than brains

Q: what did you use to take that stubborn black moldy stains off the vinyl seats? Nothing I have used so far seems to touch it. Thanks
He took the time to list the entire list of products used in the drop down menu. Did you bother to read it?
@@JulieWallis1963 your right.. I will buy $400 worth of product instead of simply asking which one specifically to use! Go bother someone else Karen.

We used soft scrub or comet on our Crealock 37 all the time. Got the decking nice and bright every time.
The new liquid soft scrub is even better. Love that stuff.
Nothing looks better than a white wall or white lettered Tire just shining
Awesome transformation! Wish you showed more of the “inside” of the boat but still good stuff.
Wow, what a transformation!! How many hours were invested in this detail??
This was oddly satisfying to watch , nice to see such a beautiful boat restored so well
Wow unreal job man what a big difference that's crazy you should be proud for that out come
WOW what a difference, love the boat details, please keep them coming 👍😁
❤
Yeah this is what they should’ve done when they collabed with WD

Hey..hey Foster ! 😄
You're taking all kinds of deatiling challenges man ! Keep going bro ! 💪🏽

With that shiny finish she should glide through the water real smooth!! Beautiful job!!!!

Boats - like anything else - become a bigger pain if you don't take care of them with regular maintenance throughout their lives.
@@Christoph-sd3ziI agree!

Wow, that cleaner u sprayed on and of coarse your hard work , works great. Thank you🇨🇦
What grot did you use for the wet sanding phase?

So funny how satisfying is to watch this..😮😮😮😮😮😊
Are you going to do follow up videos of you restoring the rest of it and getting it running?
What spray ceramic do you recommend for boats?
How do you remove heavy oxidized gel coat , do you sand first or just go with heavy buff wheel and high grit compound?
This guy brings out the best in everything he touches. Wow
Soft scrub has been around for quite a while, kind of a replacement for comet cleanser. Not as aggressive.
The soft scrub really works wonders on boats fiberglass interiors. Definitely don’t use it on the vinyl (easy to want to) but it will destroy the vinyl upholstery. Dries it out and makes it hard.
started watching this channel yesterday and it's super awesome

YES!!!!!! Another great video, can't wait til the next one.......
That was amazing. Had to subscribe. I'm buying all of your products, but what was it you were using while sanding and polishing?
Amazing video! What is the spray that you pumped at the start?
What product did you spray for the first clean?
Something about before and after with a boat as opposed to the cars. Great to see another one!
Did I spy an Estoril Blue E36 M3 sedan??? 👍😎 Soft Scrub works great, I agree. Toilet bowl cleaner also works good on the staining. 😁

What is this spray you using with pressure washer
Amazing work! Stunning result! 👍🏻
The satisfaction of when you apc'd and then pressure washed...thanks for sharing
What products did you use for the detail ?
That was a awesome job! I will have to check out some of the cleaning products for an old Bayliner capri I have.
Nice job. How much did you spend to overhaul the engine

What was the stuff in the big sprayer at the beginning?
This looks amazing!! You guys did a fantastic job 🤩🤟🏻

If I was the owner, I'd leave the graphics off, finish repairing the boat and get it back on the water.

What is the product you are using can you get it on Australia?
I bought a similar boat
The fake leather has stains on it. What product can I use to clean it up? Thank you in advance
If you drill a hole in that garden sprayer, you can install a tire valve and charge the sprayer from your air compressor.
What PSI is that pressure washer?
Man you worked your butt off cleaning that boat nice job. Rick from Kansas
