Pretty sure that we have a Bigfoot nearby. I haven't seen it, but I've smelled it, and something keeps knocking down trees across the passages that we have cut into the woods.

Another great story, Chris. I can’t imagine this woman’s fear seeing those eyes looking at her through the window. I would have had to wake up my husband though, so I wouldn’t be alone down there staring at that window. I wonder how many times it has been there staring at her, watching her making coffee and she didn’t know because the window wasn’t open so she could smell it? This kind of thing would be life changing.

The stories surrounding someone's home are the scariest. I don't know how she managed to sit there with the living room window open. I have a phobia about windows or doors being unlocked at night (too much Forensic Files!). I could never leave a window open especially if that big guy was hanging around. Whew! Great spooky story!

Right, but she didn't know they had a "big guy" roaming around their home. Thus, this window was open. Bless her ❤, though. I met she wished she would've shut it telepathically! Terrifying!
The morale to the story, don't leave any windows open fore you never know, what may be lurking around. 😬😬😬

I guess you could call me somewhat superstitious but I leave my window open only because it is quite small and without the incoming air from outside it gets very stuffy , I live in a building made in the 1960s so the airflow isn’t that great.

I sleep with a window open with a box fan in it, the window is at the head of my bed, I do have a wireless camera installed that looks down where my window is and past. Sometimes when I think I hear a noise I will pull the camera feed up on my phone but have yet to see anything. The window is in the back of my house and there is nothing but woods 30 or 40 yards past my back yard and they run 5 or so miles to a river. I like sleeping with my window open so that’s not going to change but I do have several weapons with in arms reach 👍.

Thank you, Chris. My sister and brother in law just purchased some land in southern Indiana. Her husband is an avid hunter and fisherman & about one month ago, he was night fishing and he heard something crashing through the woods, jump in the water and growled at him. It scared him so badly, he pulled his gun out and left. Last week, my sister was startled awake at 4am to what she described as a woman being tortured. Her husband said it was a bird, which she said she wasn’t buying. I’m convinced Sasquatch exist, but I told her foxes and wild cats can make similar sounds to what she heard. She says, “It had a human tone”! I can’t wait to visit her place, needless to say.

We bought 30 acres 5 years ago. A few years ago I heard what sounded like a woman being tortured. I know what it was because I looked up animals that sound like a woman screaming and I was able to match the sound. Sometimes we have to go through a process of elimination. This happened with identifying several species of wildlife at various times with unexpected calls I have heard.

I live in Toledo area, which is a shit hole. However southern Ohio towards Mohican is gorgeous. I took a solo trip to Mohican about this time last year. I was the only person at this camping area, and I got the watched feeling and I kid you not, I looked down the trail where I came in and I swear on my soul I saw a large silhouette, black as night and it was no later than 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I ignored it, tried to at least, and that's when I heard the whistle. Something whistled at me, like a yoooo hoooo but in whistle form. I didn't physically panic but internally I did. I casually packed up camp and hiked out. It scared the shit out of me. Now you and my ex girlfriend are the only people I have shared this with. The Adirondacks IS scary and remote! Thank God we've preserved so much open space. However, I unfortunately haven't been there in years. The logistics of hiking there is too difficult somewhat ironically because it's so remote. No hotels, no place to stop for snacks, barely any place to park, and the few parking spots get taken early, few trails since it is remote, some get flooded all winter.....granted I'm not looking for a suburban parking lot right on the trail, but if it's so inconvenient to hike that it's a risk you may not even be able to.....I don't go. So who knows what mysteries will remain undiscovered there!@@debbiecrochiere2182

Sounds like an authentic story and may I hazard a guess since so many of these stories, and there’s hundreds, are so similar that Sasquatch appears to have a particular learned behavior when it comes to human interaction. It seems humans are extremely taboo. Most of these close in type of encounters are with large males which are less inclined to be fearful and will scream or growl in defiance when close, but concealed, to human habitation.
I recently had a friend who owns property in rural Maine relate an experience of suddenly being extremely frightened while working in his garden during a Summer afternoon on his day off from work. He said something obviously very large yelled, screamed and growled at him from beyond his sight in the dense woods. It startled him so completely he immediately sought the protection of his elevated back porch. When I suggested it may have been a wolverine. He said it was so loud he could feel it in his chest. His neighbor heard it and immediately thought of Bigfoot although she is a long time resident and never heard that before. True story.

This story was especially exciting for me because I live in Ohio in Medina county, right next door to Valley City. When I was in elementary school I used to go into the woods to a creek to try to catch frogs, etc. I also loved the woods so would walk through them often. One day I spotted cocoons on branches that I wanted to collect so I had to walk through a particularly thorny brush area and, while making my way through the brush discovered two large nesting areas. I have no idea what made them but it was an interesting find. There was one other time I was walking towards a well known area when a sudden fear came over me that was so sudden that I turned around and hiked it home. I don't know what that was but it was like I knew there was something bad there and my instincts kicked in.
Unlike my city, Valley City didn't get as overwhelmed with housing developments and is still a beautiful sprawling city with farm land and houses sprinkled among the land. I presently live right on the border and have woods behind my house and a grove of apple trees. Trust me when I say my eyes are peeled in hopes of spotting something myself and this story gives me hope that it's more possible than I have ever dreamed!!
Thank you for your wonderful stories Chris and thank you to my neighbors in Valley City.

@@seventh_adam4410Have you ever read the story that Daniel Boone told about having killed a large male Sasquatch on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River?
It seems two Braves from the Ohio Tribes stole his son's and his horses while they were on a hunting trip and they gave chase on foot. After some time they saw the two horse thieves had meet up with several others from their tribe and were heading deep into Indian territory. The Boones realized it was prudent to turn back toward Boonsborough but it was several days on foot. They needed to hunt for fresh food so they split up to go up a ravine on either side hoping to flush out a nice deer. He heard his son shoot and then shoot again quickly without properly reloading his muzzle loader. So he knew he was in trouble and ran toward where he'd heard the shoots. He saw an injured Sasquatch pick his son up and smash him to the ground..Boone shot once through it's eye and dropped it dead. His son had bad injuries which required them to camp there before they could continue their journey. Boone was able to dissect the body and found it had a thick bone breast plate that had not been penetrated by his son's direct shot. He had been warned previously about that area by friendly natives as being dangerous due to belonging to the Bigfoot. They made it home safely but he was mocked soundly by his compatriots so he quit talking about he was older and being interviewed for his life story.
Bione was a Quaker and apparently a very honest and brave man. He and his son told the truth and they were mocked into silence. Look it up!

I think these beings are in wooded areas everywhere! We took pictures of footprints in the snow around 2013 of something obviously bipedal. I even tried to stretch out the distance in photo of how far apart the footprints were and I couldn’t even stretch half the distance and I’m 5’5. Strange thing was there’s a creek that’s runs along side of those footprints and it looked like they appeared out of nowhere. The footprints just appeared in the snow alongside the creek but it didn’t make sense. It didn’t jump bc the the prints were neat! Needless to say I’m inside before dark now but we’ve always known there’s a presence on this property since being kids. My brother saw a thing lurching outside his window looking down on him from outside the window. It had to be over 10ft tall. He was 12 at the time and I told him it was nothing and his eyes were playing tricks on him but he never accepted it! I believe it still lurks on the property. It’s a being but what I’m not sure🤷‍♀️

@@nancysalerno7036 I’m 60 and I honestly thought at the time my brother was just waking out of a sleep and his eyes were blurry. I still can see the look on his face of disbelief. I tried to convince it was just his imagination and he said “nooooooooo it was real.” There were and still are so many things that occur on this property and I’m sure around this property. I even asked the old man who sold my Dad the property had he ever had problems with ghost or whatever and he just laughed and said there’s no such things as ghost! Unfortunately, he was wrong! I put up a ring camera recently while I work out of town and just last night I turned on the speaker to listen and I heard this disembodied voice speak 3 words. I immediately sent it to my brother who’s on the property at our parents house visiting. I asked him did he hear that and he “yes.” He said it sounded like what may be lurking on the property! It’s always ongoing but I’ve learned to be inside before dark! I just feel watched now🤷‍♀️

I have a small window over my sink in the kitchen that we always keep the blinds pulled up and fully open on. Late at night when in the kitchen I often get that creepy feeling that something is out there looking at me. If I ever looked up and saw a face looking at me from that window I would absolutely have an attack of the heart! If I survived said heart attack I would then go to shooting through that window!!!

My parents live in a rural area near the Sierra Nevadas. I stayed in their guest room one night. The bed is positioned right below the window. I was awakened to a series of three taps on the window, followed by a long pause, then three more taps. This window was very high up. I “froze” and laid there in fear for hours until I fell asleep. I still wonder what it was!

Wondering if the photos are of their place in Ohio ?! Because I’m definitely seeing different creatures on the edge of forest 🌳. Most of these beings reside in a different frequency or density. So in order to see them physically you have to be in that same frequency as they are. You could call them interdimensional beings. Guess what we are also interdimensional beings because our energy is always fluctuating and changing according to our beliefs, feelings etc

I'm born and raised in Ohio----travelled and lived all over the USA, and now have been in SW Ohio for 30+ years. Ohio has 'woods' or woodlands---not 'forests' ~ lol! Once upon a time it was forested. Now there's only a tiny patch of old growth left in Wayne National Forest, SE Ohio. Ohio has plenty of history and strange occurrences, believe me. All sorts. Including plenty of UFOs over the years around Lake Erie or down along the Ohio River. God Bless!

Moved just across the river from Eastern Ohio to Kentucky. We bought a small farm smack in the middle of the Daniel Boone National forest. Several neighbors told us they had seen "Yeti " and "Wood boogers". They were not bragging, definitely warning us. One piece of advice was to always keep blinds down at night. We have a daughter in her early twenties. A young neighbor woman told her to be wary during her cycle as she had been stalked at times.
I kept thinking silently about seeing one. I didn't want to be close, preferred being 100 feet or more and in my car. Strangely my first sighting was extremely short and exactly what I had hoped. I had the strange feeling it was purposely showing itself for about four seconds. My next sighting was scary. I got up at night and just peeked out the kitchen curtains, not sure why? Just beyond the porch light I could see a tall, thin hairy creature with two yellow big eyes. I quickly stepped back and went back to bed, checking my glock and listening to every noise until dawn.
