    Growing up ( in my preteens years) I would go mushroom and berry picking by myself. Loved getting into the forest areas not touched by humans ( you recognize those right away). Now, few decades older you wouldn't pay me to go all by myself 😊

      One thing that really bothered me about this story is that they didn't bring their faithful dog into the trailer! Being a sensitive woman and a dog lover I was very upset that Gypsy had to stay outside all alone and be terrorized by that thing in the woods! Poor dog! 😳😟😮😢😢😢🦮🦮🦮🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺

      That mimicking is quite popular and normal in these stories. Mostly it's owls,birds and humans more sparingly. Once on Sasquatch Chronicles I heard a guy calling his dog peanut at night but one night he heard deeeeep voice ,here peanut. Most everyone freeks because they know it's not a human type frequencies but muuuch lower db they call them. Like bass.

    I always enjoy these videos, but there’s a small handful of stories that I found particularly haunting, and this will be one of those for me. It’s almost up there with the one where the girl and boy ride their bikes out into the outskirts of town so she can introduce him to her “cousin” 😐 and then they just chill with Bigfoot for a while and eat potato chips lol. CREEPY.

    This story seemed more like real country folk that don't get too freaked out about what they encounter on their wild lands. The only sketchy part was when he was hurting and could start getting around. Then all the sudden he could sprint home. I guess adrenaline explains that. I love that they just respected the visitors right to be there as long as he respected their space.
    I used to camp all the time way back in the swamps in an old graveyard from the 1800s in a jungle hammock with all my hunting gear that carried in, because it was the highest ground around. Most of the graves are just marked with rocks, which makes them pretty obvious because there are no rocks in the swamp, just oyster shells. But there was a small area where the people that I assumed were rich were buried that had carved headstones. There was some deliverance type locals that were the only people I would run into so far back into the swamps. But when they found out I camped in the graveyard I got their respect as none would go near it because they said it was haunted. When the nastiest one around tried that intimidation at gunpoint crap on three of us one after another each individually, he was backed done at gunpoint each time. That was not what he was used to from outsiders. Rumor had it he had killed before and even served time for murder. When I hiked out for supplies and stopped in for a drink at what I called the missing pieces bar because all the locals that frequented it were missing body parts (being a waterman is a dangerous occupation) I mentioned what happened with that guy and they were all amazed an outsider got the better of that nasty fellow. They knew exactly who he was from my description, and all said that they wouldn't mess with him. But like any bully he was on good behavior once he knew that he couldn't get away with it with us. We weren't going to be scared off so if he wanted to be there it would be on our terms.
    Anyway I know what it is like to be living in very remote areas. I heard lots of weird stuff in that graveyard at night, but nothing ever truly interacted with me physically. I figured as long as they didn't bother me I wouldn't bother them. Come daylight there was never anything unusual. But while hunting near my camp I met a nice guy with clothes that didn't fit the time period. They looked to be from a very long time ago. But the poor hand down their clothes for generations if they stand the test of time well so I didn't think much of it. He apologized for interrupting my hunt and introduced himself by giving me his fill name. I was in a tree stand but got the impression he would have shaken my hand in respect at that point if I were on the ground with him. When I got back to camp there were fresh wildflowers on one of the few graves that had a carved marker just yards from the trees my jungle hammock was suspended between. The name on one of the markers of that family was the name he had given me. The flowers were on the grave of the wife of the name that he gave right next to the grave that bore his name, and it was her birthday according to the headstone inscription. When I met him the only thing that seemed odd was he had clothes that fit what people wore over 100 years ago and spoke slightly different English. But honestly all the local spoke different English (their own local dialect) so that didn't really seem odd. He was real nice and apologized for interrupting my hunt. We chatted for about 15 minutes. He seemed alive to me. But maybe he wasn't.

      The graveyard was the highest ground around so it made the perfect campsite in the tidal swamps. I only saw one flood tide get so high that it put the graveyard underwater. But being in a jungle hammock I was still able to be suspended above the water. I had to use some ropes to rig up some makeshift suspended table like things to prepare food and eat off. It was a cold camp that trip. It was really interesting hunting when everything was underwater. It was a game changer.@@user-rd8re2lo9c

I had to get after a bigfoot that attacked my dog that'd run into the woods alongside the road where I was jogging about 1am in morning under a full moon. damn dog came outa the brush lookin at me like "what'dja do that for dad? Hi Chris, very interesting and really scary story, perfectly told for us.
    That weird, unnerving, mimicking behaviour has been shared by ‘experiencers’ before, so Jerrod’s scenario adds to this body of information.
    Good to listen to Jerrod. It would be quite tempting to dig at the rock piles, but that would be a big step to take - could be very culturally inappropriate.

      @@AnnaMendozaKCMO Hi , I’ve heard of the mimicking several times over the years. Not only as it pertains to BF. I’ve experienced what my friends and I finally assumed was demonic after having heard someone say our name thinking it was one of us , but turns out they were either sleeping or not around. Not to jump on the “demonic” bandwagon , but my understanding is that if you hear your name from a familiar voice but that person isn’t there ..? It’s likely from something not good. Also, BF are known to be uncanny mimickers , able to mimic a Jake-break from a logging truck. A chainsaw , etc. . Sounds crazy , I know , but I’ve heard people make these claims too many times to dismiss it .

      For some reason the pile of rocks looks like it’s been there for a long time. Looks like something you wouldn’t risk desecrating. I’ve heard an account or two in which someone has claimed to have killed a BF (and really regretted doing so. In one account they witnessed the mother of a young one they shot deeply mourning her loss…) and it seems like I recall the body/bones not being there when they’d gone back to look for it. I mean to say that I get the idea that BF burials don’t often occur. Idk, some do some don’t ? The “grave” in this account sure looks … like a large grave and not just a marker or ? Right ?

    I know in Shenandoah National Forest, prior to its "purchase"/creation, there were many rural folks living in the mountains in their homes. You can still see the remains of some of those homes and associate structures in the forest. I wonder if Mark Twain also had a similar background, and at some point there were people living on those lands? Also, didn't indigenous tribes in some parts of the Americas build their homes on top of stone, and when the homes eventually deteriorate, only stone is left?

    Another great story! I appreciate your story telling ways! You're really enjoyable to listen to. And I love the still images you add throughout the video! I'm not sure if the calendar is all Bigfoot or if it's just August that has Bigfoot. If it's the former, let's see the rest! Now I'm gonna have to check the calendar on your older vids.
    Thanks for the story!

    Oh boy Chris, your stories seem to top your former stories!!!! This story is so freaky!!! What tops it is the speaking of the creature!!! All this is so wild to me. I believe one day that Sasquatch or bigfoot will be photographed and we will see the mystery of this big guy!!! Stay safe Chris!!❤😊

      I think people are already doing that but we have been exposed to so many fakes it will take some DNA evidence (like from hair or scat) to prove their existence scientifically. Giant pandas were considered a Chinese folk tale until 1911 when the skin of one was acquired by a European, now they are beloved around the world.

    Thanks for taking my little advice Chris. You made your video longer. We are not teenagers with short attention span and others we listen to go into waaaaaay more detail so this was nice. Also it was so nice to not hear you say mmmm tasty after bigfoot beer tasting. You are amazing and tell and send many your channel. Keep it up. Ps I listen to 25-30 bigfoot channels alone. Sasquatch Chronicles is my favorite. This topic and most all other truths are starting to come to life and be known.

    Its amazing the human behavior. Chris just asked about the burial site on the property. But he doesn’t just answer the question? He goes on to explain where the land was, the size the shape of the land and the plans to live there, and moving onto the land. It is so bizarre?! In a fascinating way, why he did that instead of just answering the question right away?!

    Thanks, Chris, for such illustrating and well-searched stories and chronicles.
    Even though we have no Sastkwatch activity in our Costa Rican tropical forests (that I know of so far), it's amazing how this amazing species of times old have survived well hidden, and now become more and more active before men's eyes. Could it be because Nature and planet Earth are now entering a total new 'state of Vibration', which allows them (as well as other multidimensional phenomena and creatures) to be much closer and better detected by our own five senses?
    Cheers and warm hugs PURA VIDA from Costa Rica!!!

    Thank you Chris for this platform. I'll be brief. I'm 56 now living in the most southern of NJ. Years ago, approximately 2013 or so I went on a camping trip with a buddy of mine to get my mind off of my recent divorce. We camped outside Wilkes Barre PA. It was a desolate campground with it seemed only us 2. To cut down on detail for sake of content, we set camp and while doing so found a discarded wooden crate. When we put it on the evening fire, for some reason this crate, a plank and wire crate, lit up with flames that grew worrisome high. As we were trying to mitigate thus 15 ft high fire, a voice of the woods, I'd say screamed like what many have heard. It started off low and hit a high peak and dipped low again three or four times easily as it circled us approx at 80 -100 yds ( bow hunter) My non woodsy buddy thought it was a fox. He's forest deaf. I'll never forget that sound and didn't sleep until i passed out near dawn but it apparently didn't like our fire

      Really? Like you're basically dealing with a monster, if you believe the story is real, that is. I can guarantee any person who claims they would fight bigfoot for their dog is lying. Almost all of us would probably shit our pants if we were ever confronted with a similar situation to these. Dogs are both smart and protective if they think they're protecting you they will put themselves in harms way, but they won't needlessly engage with something much larger than them that is a potential danger.

    • @van3363
      @van3363 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@ragingmoderate6791 you would be wrong, I have a friend who put himself in harms way for his dog. Just as I would for mine. They are family. Maybe someday you'll be lucky enough to have this kind of relationship.

    • @ragingmoderate6791
      @ragingmoderate6791 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @van3363 Nope, no animal is worth my life. I've had dogs and loved them very much. They aren't family, though, and they aren't worth a human life. You might scare off a bear or some wolves for your dog or even stand up to another human. If you think you'd be Tough Man Tim when a 9 foot ape man that isn't supposed to exist pops out and tries to snatch your dog. All I can say is okay dude keep telling yourself that.
