    That's huge. Me and my sister was riding in the back of our grandpa's truck when she screamed. There's a man in the woods and was crying.my grandpa stopped and got out to see but it ran into the woods. This was back in the 70's. She said it was black and was looking at her. We were riding the back roads when this happened. I didn't see but I was scared to.we were just kids.

    Thanks for the In Search Of... endcap video! Brings back great memories of Leonard Nimoy as host and narrator for the series not to mention the sleepless nights after learning about "real" monsters. This series was the catalyst for my interest in the cryptid phenomenon as well as a bookmobile which visited my elementary school way back when and a particular paperback entitled "Monsters and Mysteries". The ISO bigfoot episode was by far the scariest and most well presented since it included "reel" evidence filmed by Patterson and Gimlin. With so many varied encounters from all over and details that seem to add up it brings home that something is definitely out there.

      Same!!! Had a strange experience with my ex husband some years back while we were out Arrow head hunting. We were definitely being followed through the forest on our way back from hunting all day. Even my husband was freaked out. It was soo loud , crashing through the forest, following us!! You could absolutely tell it was Bipedal.
      We never did see what it was, it kept itself very well hidden ( not to mention we were both too scared to keep looking back for fear of what we might see!). But we are both convinced it was Bigfoot.
      So, do I want to still see one?! Yes! But from a very good distance, in a truck or car so I can speed away if need be!! Lol!!

      I would but it's not too long of a story. He was on his side by side. Electric so super quiet going from neighboring campsite to visit friends back to his camp. Couple of miles down a game trail in the middle of nowhere. Piney Woods are huge. And he came around corner and it walked in front of him. Going through thick brush into woods and never made a sound. Very unnerving. But wouldn't take long to tell that.

    • @LittleKitty22
      @LittleKitty22 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Don't be so sure! I'm in the UK too. There's been sightings of them in the Cannock Chase, which is near where I live, and in the South of England, ie Cornwall if I remember right, North Devon too. Sasquatch, werewolf, UFO's - the Chase is famous for its werewolves. I used to work in the Cannock Chase for many years (on the railways). I never saw anything but - twice I got hit by a deer at exactly the same spot, years apart. Both times the deer disappeared afterwards... both cars were totally gone, but the deer had run off... how is this even possible...
      I later heard that the road this happened on, is well known for such things. So whether the deer was a ghost deer, being hunted by a Squatch or werewolf, or whatever it was - no idea. Same with our trains - they keep hitting deer, and when the driver stops and has a look around, no deer to be seen. Very very strange things going on there...

    My own take on it was that it was drawn in by the smell of blood, was curious about him, hence the side to side movement of its head, then he ran. I can tell you from experience that that is the worst thing you can do with a predator in front of you. You'll never outrun them, and they enjoy the chase. He may have survived because he wasn't the desired prey.

    Love the ending with the "In Search Of" theme song! My husband and I used to always watch that when we were young. Patton, Pa. isn't far from where my husband's grandfather grew up!

    Alot of these stories seem to have a certain cat and mouse type vibe to them. Like the Sasquatches are toying with people.

    Hello Chris! I hope your holidays were awesome. I LOVED the Squatch outline on the door, it was genius as well as fun!! Wade (my wonderful son) and I spent the whole Christmas day doing whatever each of us felt like doing (or not doing) and it was very nice and relaxing.
    As always, loved this story! I am ever so grateful to the followers who send their experiences in for Chris to share with the rest of us. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to make your adventures known and available to people like me. (I'm just a bit on the side of silliness because silly makes me laugh!) LOL
    Thank you to everyone who keeps coming back to Chris' channel for how KIND everyone is to one another. I am not afraid to share what I am thinking because no one is ever rude or unkind and that is just so danged awesome, too!
    I am wishing everyone THE BEST NEW YEAR, ever. May we each have good health, much laughter and happiness, lots of love from others, making new friendships that are honest and good for all involved. Lastly, may each and every one of us remember to work on always being KIND to others, we never know what kind of strife others are dealing with, so we should choose kindness and not burden someone with bad feelings because we were nasty, rude or unkind.
    Take care y'all, Rosey from the boondocks of Freeville, loving life and living it the best way I know how to - very content! I am a "Hugger" kind of person and I am feeling the need to HUG the necks of everyone who reads this! {🤟{🫂{❣{Love-HUGS-Exclamation hearts}❣}🫂}🤟} (smile, you have been Rosey hugged!)
