Hey Caleb, Jordon Drake said you can’t charge the phone and get the video feed at once. You implied you can get the video while charging your phone using the 5V output at the start of this video. Can you confirm if this works or not?
A wireless charger is the only way to charge your phone while using SeeMo at the moment. You can connect a 5V Qi charger to the 5V output port of SeeMo.
You can also use the Apple MagSafe charger for fast charging. However, SeeMo can charge your iPad at 5V. The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro is necessary if you want to charge your iPad faster.
@@nkisystems I’m sorry but this extremely convoluted description is not a viable option for professional work. If we are using the Lightning port for data transmission is needs to also power the phone. Set life is usually 6hrs between breaks minimum and you aren’t going to reliably get 6hrs of screen on time plus recharge fully in a 30-45min lunch period to go the next +6hrs.
@@TheTechnoPilot You can use the MagSafe charger to provide power while you phone is connected to SeeMo. We love to charge iPhone through the lightning connection, but it’s not possible at this moment due to Apple imposed restrictions.
@@nkisystems thanks, your suggested workaround i have thought so too. one issue is the clamp that came along does not work (not tight enough) with the Magsafe charger nor apple battery pack.
Have you ever attempted to utilize the app for capturing an incoming video stream directly from a camcorder, leveraging the camera's firewire out port along with a firewire to lightning adapter?
Caleb, if I use this with my Panasonic GH5 in manual focus - will I be able to touch the screen to focus the camera (like I can with the Panasonic Image App or FieldMonitor App)?
i was looking in to it is just for video or can you look at your photo to?
Heck yes!! I've been wanting this exact device for YEARS and there's no reason it should have taken this long for a professional company to make it. There's one company who has made a similar product. And they seem quite sketchy, and their app is an absurdly expensive monthly subscription model. So I'm excited!
Will the Android app be out soon? Does the hardware make the video feed usable in other applications (TH-cam, Instagram, Filmic), or only theirs?
Are you able to live stream through Instagram and Facebook with this device? Thanks for the awesome video. Peace, Love, and Happiness!!! 🙃
Definitely a game changer
what is the resolution and quality of the screenshot images that the app can save? is it a high quality jpg? or is it the same as if you just pressed the up volume and screen lock button on the iPhone normally?
Thx for the review.. Can this also be used via HDMI out that comes from my computer.? I mean any HDMI video signal can be fed in this device ..?
can you still take raw photos from your camera to the memory cards using the iphone as the monitor
merci pour cette vidéo et cette découverte. la pince fournie accepte-t-elle un iPhone 14 PRO MAX avec la Coque RhinoShield s'il vous plaît? merci.
Does the SeeMo work with F-log/4k? I don't wish to record to my iphone. All I want is to use my iphone as a monitor that works with
F-log/4k I am currently using my iphone as monitor(+transmitter).. but it only works with 1080...so I must first set my camera to 1080 to see an image (set focus & composition)... then I re-set my camera to record F-log/4k ..after which the image does not show up on the monitor/iphone.
This is cool. The pro version is really dope.
Is the video always smooth? or smooth enough for live work? Does it ever jump at all or lag?
Yest the video is smooth. For livestream, the smooth actully depends on the network connection stability.
You forgot to show what's looks like on the screen when you plug the cable to an iPhone. Is it when you attach the cable it automatically open the interface on the screen? or what. We don't have any idea.
How do you get good audio from this? Can you feed a DJI Mic to the camera and still have good audio feed through the recorder?
Could you use this device and app to record video while in photo mode on the Canon r5 in order to grab videos while you are conducting a photo session?
Does this allow you to bypass the 30minute recording limit on Sony cameras? How did the app perform continuously for longer sessions 45minutes+
Do you can change the camera settings like aperture etc (Sony)
Awesome video! Can you tap the iphone screen for auto-focus adjustment, like you can on the camera screen? I have a Canon R6. Or can I still tap on the R6 built in screen to just the AF location?
Does this support wireless transmission to another iPad with the same Acsoon SeeMo App?
The side by side is almost identical, just a hair brighter and a hair soft on reds.
question if you have a zoom meeting on your phone can you use the camera us a webcam ?? with that setup
