    If you have a camera that can be used as a webcam (such as some Fujis) via USB output on the camera, I am wondering whether there might be a shorter route. After all, the camera delivers a USB signal that the computer app understands, so is there a need for a seperate HDMI2USB conversion? Just a thought..🤔

    • @kevinraposo
      @kevinraposo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it might be possible, but would be specific to the manufacturer. I assume if they had a mobile app which could interpret the USB-C data and record, you could successfully bypass the HDMI output

      @@kevinraposo the HDMI can record the sound I've learned but it looks like older phones don't have enough power to power the set up. some phones don't have an input that sends power at all. I was very excited to try this but my alternative is to plug the cable into my computer.

    1. How do you watch the video you recorded? Can you do it on the phone too or you need to watch it on camera?
    2. Does the sound came from phone or from the camera?
    Btw thank you for the awesome tutorial 👍

    • @kevinraposo

      1) You end up with a recorded video file on your phone that you can transfer over to your computer for editing.
      2) If you enable it, the sound can also be recorded directly from the camera.
      Glad it was helpful!
