Epic rig Caleb! So glad you're enjoying the Streamer X and love how you're using the SMART pads :)
I absolutely love how creative you continue to be with these builds Caleb!
Incredible work as always! The built in capture card w/ all the various resolutions and mic options was reason enough to get one for most people, but the Midi control and recording capability is fantastic!
Hooray!
I knew I wanted this sort of compact, unified combination device when I first saw the Streamer X. Sadly, I had no clue how to realize my desire.
You, Caleb, have shown me how. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
And, whew, the kit availability solves my no-3d-printer problem, too. Whee!
This build… is so phenomenal. I’ve worked with a Stream Deck & ATEM before but this… so much better.
These builds are getting better and better. Like videos from DIY perks. Technology just keeps fusing and fusing tinkerers alike.
DIY Perks is the best!!! Thanks so my drrrw!
Omg Caleb!! You have outdone yourself on this one. This looks like a project from the future.
This pivot to wild and creative 3D printed contraptions is great! Love the new stuff, Caleb
Thanks Tim!
this is incredible.
Thanks Chris!!!
This is a really awesome, useful setup, love it :D Also just wanted to say a quick THANKS for all the great and inspirational content I have enjoyed the last couple of years, it has inspired me enough to manage to edit and publish my first video a couple of days ago, and working on a second one, so THANK YOU and have a lovely day :)
Fantastic! I love your videos and the fact that you design functional 3D prints!
Rode has been really smart investing so much in software these days, really makes their products so much more powerful. The Elgato Stream Deck could be added to this for some visual icons on the buttons too... super cool set up. Using MIDI as a hack is very clever.
Everytime I watch your videos, I wanna build something new. Love this!
Love your shared setups, great explanations and always innovative.
Caleb, as always, your videos are loaded to the brim!
Thank you!
Dude! Getting seriously industrious with your 3D printing 💪 love this little X box too!
You are absolutely crazy! Love every bit of the video :D
Whenever you build something im always hyped to see what you create. Really cool ideas. Has inspired me fr fr
I just want to pop by and say that this dude is amazing and I love the evolution of the channel and brand. The addition of 3D printing parts is a smart and brand separator. Thank you for making these wonderful videos.
Always developing amazing products and tutorials to help improve video shooter's life! what a great mind! congratulations!
Dude! I love how you hack things to create very practical video solutions. Very inspiring!
Brilliant! Just grabbed a VideoDock and can't wait to incorporate this into my setup.
Thank you for the purchase and support @kriedholm!
Amazing, you keep raising the bar higher and higher! Well done 👏🏻 thank you! 🙏🏻
This is so cool. So many possibilities and such a small rig.
This is a game-changer in so many ways! Thanks, Caleb!
Your products are getting more and more impressive Caleb!
This is so awesome. Thanks for doing this! 🎉🎉🎉
I had not even thought about MIDI control before. I'm using the Rodecaster Pro and this may completely change my workflow. Thank you!
Genius! Thanks Caleb for sharing this build.👍
You really are a hero of this space. Such a huge fan! Will be purchasing one of these kits from you :)
Amazing video! This can be perfect for a minimalist studio or when traveling. Thanks a lot for sharing it!
Fantastic video of how to optimize your setup! Thank you for the inspiration!
Extremely creative and at to use really cool tech! Love this
This video is so interesting on so many levels....you cover so many amazing things!
this is just insane! love it!
Amazing stuff. Very creative und very solution oriented.
Your ideas are so smart and good lookin. Perfect setup right there.
Oh, this is a sweet, compact little bit of kit right here. Very nice
Super sick build! Love it!
This is totally insane. Really well thought out.
I love this thanks for the video Caleb
Another unique, awesome, amazing, creative, innovative setup
Thanks. This is a really great device. To be honest, I’m not sure why Rode didn’t build the Streamer X with a screen in the first place. I suspect that later iterations might go down this path.
That is super cool. Great idea!
This was... Awesome.
Incredible build.
Wow caleb! What a fantastic set up! ( I will need to watch this over again several times in slowmo !) :-)
Dude. This is so freaking cool!
bruhhhh. You never cease to amaze me. Another banger video.
Awesome, Thanks so much... I'm very grateful!!!
I’m so impressed with it. Also very simple explanation. 👍
This just cost me some cash but the versatility is going to be unbelievable with this build. Knocked it outta the park again Caleb!
Top video and super ideas! Thanks.
I love this build, amazing! One question though. Looks like you can close the monitor 'lid', which would be nice for transport. However, won't the two knobs then damage the screen? Perhaps some rubber support on the upper side of the screen can prevent that. Or all around the screen, as it can double as a little sun hood when the monitor is in use.
So cool things) Good work, Caleb!
Loved it!! So portable, so practical, so powerful. The only thing could make this setup PERFECT is a switcher for 2 cameras. Not one, not 4 (i own the Atem mini pro) but just 2.
Thanks for sharing
Could you put a 2x1 HDMI splitter in the signal chain? One of those splitters that has a button to switch between the inputs? I’m not sure if there would be a delay between the switching, but there might be.
Would love to see Rode get into the switching game too!
i am loving these little dui builds.
I am beyond impressed by this, the Streamer X is so powerful and Rode killed it!!
Caleb amazing job with being creative with your workflow as always!!
Killed it? they're still selling it...
@@chumleykkilled it as in "did it perfect"
yes this is crazy!
This contraption feels so "Bladerunner"! Another awesome video, Sir.
What a great idea. I already have a Ninja V and a StreamDeck X, so will have to think about this. :) You are truly ingenious!
This one is wild!
Well done 👍🏻
So sick! Nice one Caleb!
This is massive. Thank you.
Great video! Thank you!! I will be building this!!
fascinating setup
Caleb, you're one of a kind. Shoutout from Humboldt Park
Nice to see you getting into automation. I was a Keyboard Maestro user until I discovered SoundFlow
Bro this is beautiful
This is so dope!
Maaan this thing looks so cool and compact.
Nice, very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video. Thank you.
This is amazing!
Love it 😃thanks for sharing
One of the great hacks I got from this channel was putting a field monitor on my teleprompter so I can see myself while still keeping my eye on the camera lens 👌🏻
This man never misses love this idea this just inspired me to make something
Interesting. Thank you for the video.
What a cool thing! 😮I needs it!
Thank you for the video
Havent been around for a long time .... Bro you look good man !!!
this guy keeps blowing my mind every time with this builds
this is honestly so invitational thank you for sharing.
Nice!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 This is amazing!
This is awesome. The only downside with the X is not being able to use multiple video streams, if it has 3 angles/input, it’s game over.
Your best build yet Caleb!
This is awesome idea👏👏
amazing setup!!
Your channel actually is educational. Tired of the usual channel out there just talking about specs on a product. You on the other hand are innovative and you show it in such a nice and simple! This is Content Creation! Its Great!!! >;))
Brilliant video!
Great video and description
Great project!!!!
This is amazing, Sir!
we are in the future guys. brilliant video bro. good contraption you made there. loved it.
Caleb, you are a genius! The only issue with the 16 buttons is how to remember which one does what.
this is so dopeeeeee
Thanks!
this is so cool!
This is a pretty brilliant build.
Wow! Something i never thought i wanted 😆
the video didn't even started and I already pressed like just for how cool and cyberpunk it looks... amazing
This will also work for every standard 2.5inch SATA SSDs, not just Samsung
I mostly used SanDisk in the past (Ultra, Extreme and Extreme Pro ), they all worked fine on the Atomos
