Went into the Seat dealership to talk about upgrading from my Ibiza black edition fr.... came out with the Leon 1.5 (150hp) sport edition... It’s a beauty of a car. Drives so smoothly, and pick up when you want it too. Favourite feature is the digital dashboard.... can’t wait for my work commute on Monday 😍😍
Just been offered one of these for an early upgrade for my 2018 1.4. Quite tempted but price jumps up a fair bit. About 60 a month for an extra 20bhp. Prob would swing towards a golf but staying with same dealership has its perks of course.
I have the 184 FR it's fast and economical. Definitely get the 184 engine over the 150, gets you 4 different driving modes and independent rear suspension
@@vjekan Manual, late 40s mpg usually 48-49. Just noticed the 150 tsi has the different driving modes too. I had it remapped this week it's now an animal with 230bhp
Perfectly fine for 4 people and shopping bags. Just got to maximize the available space and watch your load distribution when hauling heavy shit. I've hauled 400kg worth of paving stones and a total of 3 people in an old Volvo V70 before which is a compact cart by todays standards. Id fit 5 people in that Ibiza easily.
I had a pleasure to drive brand new Seat Leon for 2 weeks during our holiday in Spain last summer, but different engine. Great car! I got penalty ticket for speeding:-)
I have ordered this car in Nevada White, 2.0 (1.9HP) only downside is the 2 litres only come as petrol Automatic.. I wanted the same as I have now, 2 litre diesel manual. UPDATE: Get the car in June, woop.
@@mormo90 I know what the car specs are in this video I was merely saying at the minute I have a Black Seat Leon which is diesel and is 2.0 litre but I have ordered this car in the video which is the same to my current car minus the specs but the car I have ordered I have paid more for it to be 2.0 litre engine, but in 2 litres they don't come as manual, they are only automatic's. I get it in June so it's nearly here :D:D
Had bad luck with my Leon. Had one from new in 18 and lovely car to drive but in under 15000 miles the driver door locks shagged, 6th gear slips 1/3 times and the shock absorber is already leaking. They aint built to last.
A failed door lock or shock absorber is "understandable" as components like these are made in bulk by some OEM and than shipped to the Seat assembly line so they can be defective from the factory and fail early on. But a slipping transmission is unacceptable.
Unfortunately there was much snow on the good road (with less traffic for good acceleration and top speed) and thats why i didnt film acceleration and top speed, its dangerous with this snow condition and i have to return the car...
This car with 150hp and full equiped costs 23000 euros in Spain, the golf with 130hp and less equipment costs the same, I love how the golf looks but it is a scam compared to this one
The exact thing is happening here in Greece. 22.000 for this fr model with reverse camera and glass roof. The golf eith the same equipment is like 27.000 euros.....

The storage of the boot is big, it fits my whole week shopping in there if I wanted more space I'd just fold down the back seats then it fits in a whole month of shopping with some extra space for something about the size of a child.

What’s your experience so far with fuel economy ?
For me quite good, i drive most of the time 100 km on the highway and it consumes 4.7fuel per 100 km . In my eyes better than the gold

I think they’ve stopped offering this engine as it is no longer on their website configurator
Der 1,8 TSI mit 184 PS wurde 2018 (Modelljahr 2019) durch 2,0 TSI Motor mit 190 PS ersetzt !

These cars go quicker than what you think ay? I once thou I was doing 70 mph up the dual carriageway and really it was like 79mph.

Kostas Spanos try this engine, it is very good, 15.5 km/lt, silenced, and you have a 2 cilinder mode automatically if you drive in economy

I have the 2014 Seat Leon FR 1.4 TSI 138HP and it looks exactly the same on the outside and the inside xd (I have the technology version so full LEDs)

This is standart exhaust, maybe 1.5 tsi engine sounds better than 1.4 tsi
better is subjective, but the 1.5 TSI is indeed somewhat noisier/rougher than the older 1.4TSI and 1.8TSI

Beim Modelljahr 2019 gibt es die Manuelle Funktion mit Schlüssel nicht mehr !! Kann man aber Codieren lassen,wenn man es möchte.

Most Dry clutches dont exist anymore on new models including this one so its safe now
@@MrRGM10 they are still there, install dry DSG clutches all the time, dsg model dq200. They are assembled up to 180hp and 250 Nm of torque.

diesel is a little different. I have a diesel. At 10mph it wants 2nd gear where my previous car didn't want 2nd gear until 20 - 22mph.
