I leased this model for 2 years and liked it so much I put a deposit down on one today.
Really great hatchback in my opinion.
Fuel economy is great and has enough zip to get you out of awkward situations.

I own the FR 1.4 liter 150 bhp and this car is amazing value for the money one needs to pay for it. I bought it new in April 2016. It's obviously ECO 6, so when you're not in a rush and driving at a leasure pace, say 100-110km/h, the engine switches to Eco mode and it injects fuel mixture to two cylinders only. This way I recently got as low as 3.6l/100km consumption. If you're doing 120-130 km/h then you can get to 5-5.3l/100km. It's a very good engine and a very good car. My wife and I love it. It's very well designed, much more comfortable then the Golf and the FR/Cupra seats are awesome in my opinion. I've been driving the Leon III FR for five years now and didn't have any major issues with it whatsoever. One thing I need to mention is that you must stick to the service intervals and change oil and filters as required. If you do so, then everything should be fine with the car. I'm doing about 40000 km a year, which may not be a lot, but on the other hand it's not a little either. I replaced all brake pads already and the front discs will need to be replaced soon. I'm having it serviced now, actually. I need to have the front sway bar replaced since after some time (5 years in my case) it may start to squeak (or actually its rubber bushings that are now integrated and not replaceable separately) when driving over speed bumps and stuff like that. But it's a common problem with Seats and Škodas and even VWs. Other than that, Ive had no problems with it at all. I do admit a take proper care about it and treat it well, rarely exceed 170 km/h on a freeway, so it serves me well.

I have the 1.4 tsi ST FR, always in Sport mode my average is 6.4L/100km (according to the computer), so might be a bit higher. City, country road, but mostly motorway @140-150. Apart from the rattling plastics, I love this car, so practical all around.
After a long a did get my first car from my own money, this one 1,4 tsi 150 FR. And it was the best option ever, i love it .nice video mate, Merry xmas

Der Leon ist so fucking geil, hab einen Mii und wünschte ich hätte den Leon.
Aber den Mii mag ich auch total. Seat gefällt mir gut.

Sehr schönes Auto, bekomme meinen in ein paar Monaten, Lieferzeiten sind leider Krass zur Zeit xD Das einzige was mir nicht gefällt ist der riesige Kasten für die Kamera und Co hinter dem Innenspiegel. Der sorgt schon für einen ziemlich großen " zusätzlichen Toten Winkel ", gefühlt ist das Ding störender als bei anderen Herstellern

Das Geilste an dem ganzem Video: Der kleine rote Fiat, ab der 6. Minute auftaucht. Ganz geschmeidig rollert er, mit durchschnittlich 120 km/h , auf der linken Spur. Rechtsfahrgebot? Scheissegal, weiter vorne - mit ca 1.0 Kilometer Abstand, fahren Busse, die überholt werden sollen. Dafür braucht man genug Anlauf und Schwung, dann kommt man auch mit knapp 135 km/h an den Bussen vorbei.... ;-)
Ich habe auch ein Leon Fr 1.4 150 PS aber mit DSG, ein ech tolles Auto, ich liebe es

I have my leon fr 1.4tsi 3 years and it's now att 150000km no bigg issues only service.
It have a tune also 170hp 300nm it drives very nice and cheap.
Still got it? How rattly is the interior? I like this a lot but VW group cars have been very rattly for some reason in my experience

I had a 2017 Leon FR 1.4 tsi as a courtesy car. Very nice car to look at and nice interior to sit in. The one I had was the 7 speed DSG automatic, I’m afraid that only the gearbox let it down. Yes gear changes were super quick but the downshift in auto was poor and in fairness , the gearbox didn’t know which gear it wanted to be in half the time, for example, you approach a speed bump (which is well known in the UK lol) drive up in say 3rd gear at 20mph, slow down a little as these do sit fairly low, the car will nosedive as the gearbox will downshift straight to 1st and when you come of the bump it’ll redline and go into 4th and then change to 2nd or 3rd. If you think of buying one of these cars, id strongly recommend the 6 speed manual

@@TheBenjamincooper2 I already have 1.8FR and I find it the best balanced car I've ever had. It can consume as low as 6,3L/100km when cruising from home to work and vice versa and give so much fun when driving just for fun. It's small, handles perfectly, suspension is quite stiff but not that stiff to make your teeth ring:) The only issue are fragile headlamps - they crack without any reason.
Im getting one soon i can't wait i was very supprised with how good the acceleration was

+Alex Ionita Hi Alex, 6.5 liter/100 km has been my average consumption over 1000 km with this car. When you drive the whole time only 150-200 km/h then the consumption is much higher.
Hi, I drive one of these, mainly on the autobahn and I get 6.7 on average (no AC), when cruising 140 km/h. 7.3 when crusing 150-160 km/h. The highest I reached was 8.0 with AC on cruising 170. Still a great result. In general a very good car.
2000km made, 1.4TSI 125hp, Tiguan 2017, 80% made in Bucharest, average 8.3%. Not bad at all :)

I thought that FR is always 1.8
FR is actually a trim level and at some point it's been sold with 1.8l engine I suppose. But now it's only presented with 1.4l engine.
Depends on the market i suppose. F.e. here in germany it is 1.4 125, 1.4 150 and 1.4 180 for the FR.
ivan mamedov think they use the 1.2 tsi as well, nippy performance in a sports trim while retaining diesel like mpg and £20-30 for 12 months road tax, in fact I’m looking up the estate version of this 1.4 150hp that’s a 2016 model so the £30 tax bracket.

in denmark you can get 1.2 1.4 1.6tdi 1.8tsi/tdi 2.0 tdi in fr trim

Not very refined lots of noise poor insulation.
the links lizard Seat Leon’s have always had problem with road noise even back to the mk2. I have a mk2 Leon Fr PD170 bhp and had to put Vredstein Ultrac Vorti tyres on it and it’s quieter now. Good cars and plenty of torque👍

Hab einen mit 140 PS der läuft 240kmh und der Abzug ist echt sehr gut lasse mit dem auch mal einen amg stehen
