But the cupra doesn’t come standard with pop exhaust so even if he downshifts i’ll do non
@@izanxmixi9754 yes she does , it's not very loud that's it , but she definitely does come with pop's and bang's , if you remove the silencer you , it will be louder even more 🔥

Got mine 2 weeks ago. Incredible drivers car full of drama. I like the Civic Type R performance but it looks ridiculous. The Golf R has a great interior but I see a dozen every day. You won't regret it. It's a real sleeper and pulls right across the gears.
How did that cost you for this model ?

Lovely colour. I've had mine for almost 3 months and love every minute of driving it. Virtual dash is so configurable and have mine setup same as you with central Rev counter.
How u config it? I got a 2018 300ST.
@@patrickgrasmuck1152 I'm Prob not the best person to go through this but hey may be a TH-cam video for me :-) . The RevCounter in the center of the dial is simple and just through the view button but you can only change the views with the Ignition on and with passenger door shut. Getting the different gauges is done throught the Infotainment screen in one of the settings menus.
You can't put the rev counter in the center on the 300. And that sucks :(
@@crystallised88 OMG that does indeed suck, maybe it is a slight change of software on that model. But I cannot see why they would do that :-? Is it a UK model?
I don't have a UK car. But unfortunately I've read from forums (mostly UK guys on there) that it's both a software and hardware change. So an update wouldn't fix it :/

I can assure for all those who are waiting they are amazing i downgraded from a 300 had mine for just over a month and the new exhaust is superb, Oh and yes i do get DSG farts it just doesn't happen immediately takes a few miles :D

The 300 has louder, more frequent DSG farts. The 2019 has copper badges, a GPF, deeper exhaust note, 7 speed DSG and upgraded digital cockpit. It does the over run crackles too at lift off.

I bought this car (2019 Cupra 290) today, I pick it up this week. I’ve not driven it or had a proper look. I’m going from a stage 2 Cupra R. So really looking forward to it.. though I will have it remapped.

@@stannikjin hab selbst den 290er und weiß was du meinst, aber ein Kumpel hat mit die erste Charge 300er und der klingt echt nochmal besser und böser als der 290er

2019/2020 Leon Cupra always comes with the 7-speed DSG (DQ381).

What year? I think the older 290 doesn't have the boost gauge

@@patrickgrasmuck1152 Bist du sicher? Wo kann man das nachlesen? Möchte mir einen "neuen" 300er kaufen mit EZ 10/2018. Wann der gebaut wurde weiss ich nicht. Betrifft das nur die Modelle mit 290PS oder hat Seat auch den letzten 300er Cupras den OPF eingebaut? Also wenn der sich auch schon nach nichts mehr anhört muss ich mich wohl nach einem anderen umsehen..
@@salitos-hd4oq alle 290er, meines Wissens. Die 300er sollten alle ohne sein. Sobald er 7 Gang DSG hat, weisst du es. 10/18 müsste 290er sein, außer er hat eine Sondergenehmigung bekommen. Denn alle ab 09/18 müssen die neue norm erfüllen.

Es gibt noch die Leon Cupra R mit 310 oder 320 PS bin mir net genau sicher ist aber 799 stück limitiert

No dsg bangs or pops on overrun? It sounds quiet compared to my cupra 300
DSG bangs are muted, you do get them but they're nothing like the 300 or previous 290.
Downshift pops are there in DSG sport + Sport or Cupra. 2k on mine and the pops are decent. The whole exhaust tone seems deeper than a stock 300 too. It's a shame about the DSG bangs though.
The new Partical filter.. OPF? mutes the bangs. It sucks.

Hi Leute kann mir jemand helfen... haben den Seat Leon cupra st 4 Drive ( mit dem Kupfer Logo ) - wie kann ich mein Ambiente Licht jeweils fürs Fahrmodi einstellen z.b in comfort blau und cupra rot... ich kann nur *eine Farbe* einstellen für *beides* das gleiche comfort "blau" und wenn ich umschalte auf cupra ist es immer noch "blau" ( egal ) welche Farbe geht nur drum dass ich's gerne jeweils angepasst haben möchte. Wenn's iwie geht

@@amineghost7877 Obviously if you have good self control you could get away with it, but if you just turned 18, got your license and then got a quick car, what are majority going to do? Speed obviously because you have the ability to do so, and doing so while being inexperienced will likely cause you to crash. Looking back though, the Golf R while being nippy isn't overwhelmingly fast, you will have to try and get it over 100 ect.., and the AWD system makes it quite drivable. I had the S3 which uses the same platform and it was really approachable and controllable to drive. (I thought this was a Golf R video before I responded and can't be arsed to rewrite it but the same still applies)

Ich finde das DSG-Geknatter schrecklich. Genau wie die ganzen Motorsounds heute. Kein Vergleich zu richtigen Motoren mit 6 oder 8 Zylindern und ordentlich Hubraum 🙂

My 300 has the display, it was an option the first half of 2018 and then starting July production it was included as standard
@@DxCBuG the 2018 has the digital cockpit, but it won't have that specific display with the dial in the middle (Audi style) it was only available on the MY19 Cupra onwards.
So a shame, I think I can't upgrade that?
@@vladus.. i believe it's possible to retrofit, but I don't know how easy or expensive it would be.
As cool as it looks it's probably not worth the cost (if you already have the older style digital cockpit).

Es ist im Prinzip das gleiche Auto. Nur jetzt vermarktet von Cupra mit Kupfer Emblem. Und der Leihe merkt die 10 PS eh nicht..
@@megadome881 Nicht ganz. Getriebe ist jetzt das 7-Gang DSG und dem Motor wurde ein Partikelfilter spendiert, deshalb auch die 10 PS weniger (WLTP sei dank).
@@GeForceMan Okay, also ich habe den 300er seit jetzt bald 2 Monaten.. Und ich muss sagen es wäre schon echt schade wenn meiner nicht mehr das "blubbern" beim vom Gas gehen hätte... Was ja beim neuen anscheinend fehlt. Da nehme ich lieber das "alte" 6 Gang DSG was auch gut genug ist um ne Menge Spaß mit dem Auto zu haben ^^
@@megadome881 Das Blubbern bei Gaswegnahme ist immer noch vorhanden, ein paar Clips hier auf TH-cam bestätigen es. Nur das ''DSG-Furzen'' soll sich jetzt mehr wie ein dumpfer Knall anhören.

Ich finde ein Automatikgetriebe nimmt einem völlig den Fahrspaß, besonders bei Autos aus dieser Klasse.

Der Cupra von 2016 ist auch lauter. Fast vergleichbar mit dem GTI. Der GTI mit 6 Gang DSG / 230PS von 2016 ist lauter als mein GTI Performance von 2018 mit 7 Gang DSG /245PS ... Eigentlich traurig sowas
