yo, you need to tell all these people that you're getting reactions from that you have the "MID LEVEL" CT and that the highest level CT goes 0-60 in 2.6-2.7 seconds. all you're saying is that this one you have goes slow...not enough information.

Regarding fingerprints ... A lot of detailers have tested all kinds of products on this and the one that seems to be the best by far is just a cheap bottle of windex.
Tesla's Cybertruck design strategy is pure genius! People are paying Tesla $100K for Cybertruck to be an involuntary Tesla billboard. 😂
No badging is needed. Instantly recognizable. This baller-mobile makes every supercar owner feel stupid. They spent millions and only got a few sideway glances. For a $100K Cyber beast, people are losing their minds! 🤪

About the crash @ 17:42, I was excited upon hearing you reference it as a side impact. Pretty much everyone that reported on the incident, assumed it was a frontal impact. Even though a dent is clearly visible along the base, between the doors. Also no one has mentioned the CT swerving onto the embankment, with little reaction time. And your correct, it didn't roll over! What was your source, or had you concluded this pin your own? Thank you.

Stainless steel fingerprints come out with WD-40. Always have a can and some cloth.
Another channel showed that Windex cleans the fingerprints well. Probably vinegar-water would work well too, but a lot cheaper.

How long did you take to get yours?
I ordered Dec 20th.
Considering reservations started more than 2 years ago, 2 million + of 'em (sure many will bail because only the 2 most expensive are available as of today)....and there is a queue .....I would guess 2 years if lucky. It's obvious how long it took dude here because they just started deliveries and reservations started 2-3 years ago. Mind you it's a slow ramp at first. There is a website that you can check your reservation and a "guess" as to when you'd get it. 🕰
99% are Tesla employee owned. All videos are from TH-camrs etc that pay 1k a day to rent and post. Im on the same boat as you. Promised Jan to March 2024 but probably June.

It's what I use on my stainless steel appliances in my house. Have yet to find a stainless "polish" that works well without looking greasy.
Personally, stainless steel is grossly overrated and regret getting them for my kitchen. When it's time for replacement, I am going all black appliances. On the CT, the stainless looks horrendous. I have seen some wrapped in different colors and they look worlds better.
A microfiber cloth will wipe those fingeprints off easy. You can get them online. I use one for my fridge at home! Also works wonders on glass & mirrors (which is basically glass).

Checked with my partner. We use microfiber or microfiber + Windex of all things. Our 12 yr old stainless steel fridge looks pretty new!

@DennisCW Been in the area of L.A. you really need extra protection when you are trying to get reactions while showing off a high-end, extremely expensive vehicle, nice, nice folks in that area freelance for the local "Gone In Sixty Seconds" crew. Their reactions may be to ask to borrow the vehicle. They may be very enthusiastic about the request to borrow, won't take "No" for an answer.

I think it’s funny how cool you guys think the ugliest truck on the market is. Once the wow factor wears off everyone will be selling these things like crazy.
It seems incredibly useless as a "truck". Of course, nobody is going to buy these things for actual truck use. A Ridgeline or Maverick is even better as a truck. They will be popular for about a year until the new factor wears off.
And that stainless steel is just cringe. There is a reason stainless steel hasn't been used since the Delorean (which was also a massive flop). I have seen these wrapped in different colors and they actually look MUCH better than that horrible stainless.
This guy reminds me of someone looking for approval by the way he keeps asking everyone "What do you think?" before they even get a second to look at it and form an opinion. It's a little annoying.

@@user-hq8lb1yv9k Anybody actually in the market for a truck to actually use for truck things isn't even going to consider this. This is a novelty niche vehicle, and there's nothing wrong with that. The F-150 has been the best selling truck for almost half a century. Yet no one wants the Lightning. The new electric "Hummer" also isn't moving. Here in NE at least, people buy trucks for towing and 4WD capability. No one around here cares about the cost of gas, but they do care about range.
Tesla should also offer the CT without the stainless steel. I have seen some wrapped in different colors and they look phenomenally better. Stainless steel is grossly overrated in my view and regret getting them for my kitchen appliances. Can't wait to switch them to all black.
