Another tip/suggestion for those who may have Crystal light lemonade and a kettle: Boil the water in your kettle first, and then stir in the lemonade (you may have to froth it if you want to get a minor "foam" affect from it). Then, steep the tea bags or you can steep the tea bags first & then add the lemonade & stir it altogether. And then add the honey afterwards. I personally use Tazo refresh mint tea and the Bigelow Perfect Peach tea. For the tea bags that say have diff. steeping times on them, I usually go for the longer amt. of time (e.g. 1 bag says 3 mins and the other bag says 4 mins). I do the 4 mins, but take out the bag that says 3 mins when the timer gets down to 1 minute. Not all, but some teabags will have different time frames. Also, if you steep the 3 min. bag longer-it won't hurt much, I think it just makes it stronger.
Great video really enjoyed the recipe as well as the alternative options you provided but still taste delicious. May I ask what type of honey is that that you're using ? It looks so crumbly and delicious and perfect for tea
@@americanprincess851 The Jade Citrus Meant tea that is presented in this video *used* to be sold at TJ Maxx. No matter which location I go to, that particular tea is the #1 thing I Look for at all TJ Maxx locations when I stumble upon them & have time to go. Now, I regret not buying the first few times I've seen them there. Literally, I've been looking for that *exact* tea primarily for this purpose & I haven't seen it for say the past month now yet it never stops me from looking for it. And these snacks haven't been at TJ Maxx recently, either, but I've enjoyed these snacks called b'cuz bites (they're surprisingly good imo)-as long as one isn't allergic to nuts ofc. I'll even look at HomeGoods for that Jade Citrus mint tea-have had no luck there, but have had semi-luck with the b'cuz bites (they're basically like miniature granola bar bites), but their s'mores flavor had 0 gelatin which is exactly what I loved.
@@cicicave1279 The Tazo Green Tea in this video is sold at Walmart, Target, And other grocery stores too. Edited to add when I replied to Ninasky it was about the Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea specifically. Thanks for clearing that up.
@@americanprincess851 Sorry I should have mentioned that it was the Teavana Jade Citrus Mint Tea I had seen specifically at TJ Maxx for abt. 2-3 weeks in a row 1 time. But thank you for the suggestions. I actually have plenty of tea here. I actually happen to have Tazo Zen green tea among many others. I even have herbal tea back from Texas from 2020 when I took a trip out that way in the partial beginning of that year.
@@cicicave1279 oh..I see now, I’ve seen the Teavana jade citrus mint tea at Target when they used to still sell it awhile back. Now I can’t find it anywhere. But there are some dupes for it out there.
+Monliv550 Just so you know, she added the honey after the tea was done steeping which was we're supposed to do. That's how I always add honey is once it's done steeping and there's never been an issue doing it that way.
I do mine using fresh ginger , garlic clove , fresh lemon , lemon zest , turmeric, cayenne pepper , honey then add hot water ! It works 👍
Would love that recipe
Yeah but then it isn’t a medicine ball anymore.
How much cayenne pepper do you use

It's honey from my dad's bee's! He no longer keeps them, but he still has some honey that he gives to me!
I can't find the teavana teas anywhere anymore...thank u for the dupes
I think that they are only available at Starbucks right now from the looks of it. 🤔 it’s good that the creator suggested some dupes.

Don’t add boiling water to honey!
