  • This will work with just about any USB socket of this style. They currently have USB and USB-C version as well
    Not the same usb socket but it’s probably the one I’d be switching to once I get more USB-C cables

    I did that but the found it annoying that I had to always turn it on every time the trucks starts. Sometimes I plug my phone in and forget to turn it on thinking it was charging the entire time.

      I plan on having it on constant power so the switch will be nice

    any tips on removing the original 2 wires? I was trying for about an hour and had no luck getting either one out. It's just too tight for me to apply any pressure to them

      you can use a screwdriver and stick in between the plug and connector. pry them apart

      no need, key off and there wont be any power there. plus its fused so if you mess up the fuse will blow
