I LOVE that you throw your yarn with your right hand. As a new knitter and someone who is quite a visual learner I find a lot of tutorials don't make any sense when people do the left hand thing and I can't follow it as it doesn't seem the same as what I'm doing!! ;)

I've wanted to knit socks for ages! I'm so excited to use your free sock pattern- I'm buying new needles and yarn today :) Thanks for the tutorial!

It was at minute 4:30 that I said aloud to an empty room, "Oh! NOW it makes sense!" Thanks for that. :)

Hey, thanks for amazing socks patterns on Ravelry. I couldn't copy the video links on PDF file, and I tried typing them but those old links didn't work. I hope I can learn a lot from the videos here on your channel.

thanks so much for this... I have shaky hands and I've struggled to even begin to figure out how to deal with double points and of course that has put a stop in me moving on in learning knitting. So excited to see an alternative to doing double points.

I have the consistent issue of too much tension once I start knitting after the initial stitch? Any ideas on how to solve this? It makes knitting seem much more daunting for whatever reason. TIA!

I love DPNs but I'm always afraid of losing them if I take them out so I'm decided to learn this in order to be able to knit on the go 😤

Would this be the five inch needle with 30 inch cable to make 40?

I can follow your instructions, but when I cast on, using cable cast on, I have the yarn tail at one one and the working yarn at the other. did you knit 1 row before starting the Magic loop? or if not, what cast on method did you use? thanks!

She uses the long tail cast on method which makes both tail and working yarn on the same side

Thanks for this tutorial! I have knitted many pairs of socks but all on circulars. So now I have magic loop needles and this tutorial is just the ticket to get me going. Happy Knitting!

So if I’m continental. Is it opposite ?

    • @alexandra3804

For continental knitting it's the same process, but the working yarn will be on the inside of the two needles, leaning left, as you hold it with your index finger from your left hand. Hope this makes sense!
