not at all so far I have been drawing alot and have gotten better and my next plan is to make my own fursuit which I have most if not all of the basic materials to make a partial fursuit for the sewing machine I play to get a used one on ebay but that will be a later expenses.
Ill have to say that I will be in between. I do spend some money on the cons and stuff. I usually stay at an airbnb rental nearby. And I buy my own food and drinks from the local market or conviniant store. This FWA I saved like 100$$ on food itself. Those savings add up and I can put it towards buying merch and art from the dealers. Or, if I don't, ill just put it into my checking for bills later. Enough of that with me. Love this video. Keep up the awesome job.
SeeNot pay to play, but there is a lot of expensive stuff,as you mentioned. I will say that, and this is a MASSIVE risk, that sometimes, newer fursuit makers can make a suit for relatively low. How we, there are massive risks attached. One, theyre not always reputable. Two, the quality may not be always great. Ive been blessed that my maker held true to their word, and their quality ia solid for a new maker.
That is a heaps good explanation of how expensive furry conventions are. And let’s put it this way, life in general is pay to play and you need to prioritise your expenses. I even had to. And if the furry fandom is EA, than fursuits, cons and art are just payed DLC. Or fursuits are just skins you get from fortnight. You see, I’m more of a content creator that started out making videos on TH-cam way before before I first put on a fursuit and felt that I don’t need to have a face reveal as I make content out of suit. Bruzo is my fursona but also a mascot for my content. And even though as I love to stay at con hotels only for the safety of my fursuit from the elements but at the end of the day, I don’t drink alcohol at con’s nor by food from the restaurants but instead, I eat takeout or buy food from the groceries. I only eat at the hotel buffet if it’s included in my accommodation package.
I wouldn't say so. You don't even need anything to be a furry. All you need on that front is to say it. Other than that it's your decision if you want to pay for stuff or not.
Honestly I used to want a Fursuit when I first joined the fandom. But Definitely NOT Anymore After I learned about the Ridiculous Prices, and having to Care for And Wash the Suit. Even just getting materials to MAKE A Suit can cost Thousands of dollars.
Yes i agree with you that it is a yes and no for the furry fandom to be free or expensive but it is really fun and you can see cool stuff and make friends. I love being apart of the furry fandom and the Community it makes me happy oh and have fun on your trip and take it easy and stay safe
Is say not really you don’t need a lot of money to enjoy the fandom/being a furry but then again there are tons! Of amazing incredible one of a kind gorgeous art, pins, merch etc heck making my first dinomask with the mask itself, paint, brushes, hot glue and clear mesh for the eyes it was at least 90 dollars for all that but hey it was worth it when you have that kind of fun furry money to spend.
I think there are plenty of ways to enjoy the fandom on a budget. And just like every other hobby there are levels. Like the car enthusiasts were you can have a Lamborghini and go to car meets. Or you can have a classic VW bug and still go to car meets and have a great time. And probably get more friends because you're not a rich show off with an expensive car XD
I just get art. But with how things are today, I've kinda given up on trying to get a fursuit or go to a furry convention 😞

Also, if you can't get art, free to use art bases are always an option. Just make sure you credit the creator.

unfortunately I's say yes. from my experience, you will be looked down upon if you don't have an expensive fursuit or the latest in cosplay gimmicks.
That’s Sad :(
Just be yourself and have fun with out spending money
If you intend to be noticed at a fury con, it is completely a pay to play experience. Have a fursuit or be ignored at con.

Gorgeous Video, Very Informative and Very Cool. ❤
You made me feel better 👍 I don’t own one but I still injoy
Thanks for the advice.
Nah, its pay to role-play.
I’m A Furry and I’m Dirt Broke lol
Same
Not at all
Its pay to win xD
I enjoy the fandom by watching furry TH-camrs like you. As a person who works three jobs, I don’t really have the time or money to go to conventions.
Same and as content creator, I know I upload videos for free.
