When it comes to minimalistic and thin design , you can’t go wrong with pitaka.
That’s a fact.
I got this case a few days ago and I have to say, I'm blown away. I've used many different brands of cases in the past (Otterbox, Spigen, Tech21, Apple, Speck) but this one blows all of them out of the water. The durability, fit, useability, and sleekness of it is unmatched. If I were to have only one case for my phone, it would be this one.
Yeah this year’s Pitaka Pro is so good. I actually was using it the other day and remembered how much I love it. Great choice.
Great review B . Glad to see some improvements has been made this year . Can’t wait til my pitaka pro gets here . ❤
Thank you!!
I need this case! Plus I have black titanium too and it’s so stealthy looking!
It’s so good. I don’t want it take it off 😂
It does come with an alignment magnet. They just don't show it. I can find it with my magsafe popsocket.
Great video, does it say what the drop protection is? I just bought the 600D pro. This thing is really nice!
I believe it’s 6 feet.
@@Brians_tech ok thanks
Maybe the blue option might be the way to go for the fingerprint conscious
Would you recommend this over the Mous Aramid Fiber case?
I haven’t tried the Mous yet, it’s in the plans very soon. However, I’ve heard with the Mous aramid fiber case, the sides of it are kind of squishy so there’s some movement. But I’m going to check it out for sure!
You do pay a pretty penny for this case but it just checks off all of the boxes. What else can I say, definitely better than that fine woven case hot trash from Apple.
Great video
Thank you! It's a great case for sure. One of my favorites so far.
After less than a week I noticed rattling sounds made by buttons when you shake/move the case. Buttons are not OK to rattle. Even more, the grip is barely acceptable.
(I’m talking about Pitaka PRO case)
For the 15 pro max? Interesting… mine don’t really rattle but glad to know that it’s an issue.
@@Brians_tech Yes. The sound can be heard only in quiet places.
If the case would have had some thin TPE/silicon/whatever under the buttons it would have been way better.
Having anodized metal buttons over iPhone buttons is a huge NO for me.
Going to buy Apple silicon case and never look back to Pitaka.
@@Brians_tech Mine is also rattling a bit and I have a new case for my 15 PRo max. I think every case has this and it's normal.
Does anyone know if the metal buttons will scratch the buttons on the iPhone 15 pro over time ? Or did they take protective measures to prevent this from happening some how? Thanks
The inside of them is soft that touches your phone so it won’t scratch it
@@Brians_tech thanks for the reply and for confirming this with me. Should be getting mine any day now
@@Brians_techI’m confused now, I’ve seen on technicallytees channel that it doesn’t have anything on the inside
Does it have anything over the metal buttons on the inside to prevent scratches on the actual buttons of the phone?
No, it's just the metal buttons, but buttons on a case don't scratch up the phone's buttons. I've used tons of cases and constantly take them off and put them back on and have no issues. You never really have to worry about the buttons on a case scratching up the buttons on your phone.
How do you compare it with BENKS ArmorPro Case with Kevlar 600D, can we have a comparison video…..? Also it is cheaper than Pitaka
Pitaka do a 600D version of this case too.
Yes I can definitely compare them. I’m waiting on the Benks Armor Pro to come in and I’ll do a video on it
@@IronsWHUyes but it has cutouts for power and volume buttons
@@rishi0807 what does? The Pitaka has metal buttons.
He’s talking about the MagEZ 4. That one is open for the volume and power button
Does it feel sharp on the side? Especially on the sharp edges on the lower side
No not at all
@@Brians_tech so it feel like the rounded edges of Iphone 15 right? Not the sharp edges like Iphone 12-14?
Exactly!
@@Brians_tech I heard a reviewer in their video say that it’s a bit sharp like Iphone 14 side. Because of the case chamfered edge on the side
@kennardi09 maybe just their unit. It’s noticeably smoother than last year’s for me. But again, sometimes the units have a defect or something, so maybe mine is defective, or theirs is. Not sure. But again to me, it’s pretty smooth.
Can you pls see if the iPhone 15 pro case fits the base iPhone 15
It doesn’t because the cameras are different and the pros have the action button
how does it compare to the Benks Aramid?
This year, the Pitaka Pro is better all around than the Benks Armor Pro. It’s not a bad case, but just everything is a bit better on Pitaka’s.
They changed the packaging. Doesn’t look biodegradable anymore 😂
My case looked horrible after a week with fingerprints, I switched to another case because of had bad it was only a week in
Same! You can wipe them away just by any wet microfibre cloth.
Cons of aramid fiber. Smudges everywhere!
Isn't it slippery to hold in your hands?
No; not really
Does it come in different colors?
It does! Hit the link in the description. They just released this new blue color that looks great.
Love the touch and feel but the smudges are awful. Won’t buy it again.
The smudges this year are much better. But I get it
@@Brians_tech The smudges are indeed better now. Thanks.
Love the aesthetics of the case but too slippery and too boxy.
Really, you found it that slippery this year? I didn’t think it was very slippery
@@Brians_tech yes my benchmark for grip is the Caudabe Sheath and the Pitaka pro has a lot less grip than the Sheath.
Have Pitaka for my S23+. In my opinion terrible cases. They are almosy impossible to take off because not flexible at all. That means a bad impact absorbtion.
It’s not bad for the iPhone 15 series. I don’t have too many issues with it at all.
@@Brians_tech Its kinda good ngl. Grip is good, texture is incredible, but everything else makes them bad choice.
Do you have any expirience with how protective it is? I do not so i can obly use logoc to determine how good it is. Because it is thin, very hard and tight (it means that all impact will be absorbed by phone) and corners does not have any space beetwen phone and itself meaning that any drop on corners almost certainly means damage. Unfortunately being scratchproof is not enough to be a good case, as even leather ones provide better protection for nearly same price. And its hard to get off as hell.
@DaCouchWarrior I dropped it once or twice and had no issues with damage to the phone. They changed how difficult it was to get off with the 15 series and made it a lot easier
