You should get one of those magnetic field viewers to be able to see for sure if these cases have the alignment magnets. Pretty cheap online and would make a great addition to your reviews!

Also, I can’t find ANYWHERE on pitakas website for these two cases where it even says if it’s 1500D or 600D. When I ordered my Pro 4 these two cases you’re showcasing 100% said 600D aramid fiber. How did you know they were 1500D prior to picking them Up? Unless they sent them to you. Please ask them how we’re supposed to know that these two cases bare now made with 1500D and not just 600D like it used to say before.
Thanks for the review. If they don’t wrap the bottom they need to eliminate the lip. Pinky finger hold makes it uncomfortable. LaterCase has an open bottom but no lip. Glad you did this one.
What’s up Tee! The camera ring is made from recycled cases also aramid fiber, that’s probably why it’s not cold to the touch like aluminum, I just ordered mine today and did a bit of research to justify that price is paid 😅
The pitaka case has the alignment magnet, it just doesn't have that sign on it, the magnetic attraction of their starpeak is slightly weaker than the standard 600 D black, probably because the case is slightly thicker😉
Fitting that your looking at Pitaka today. Just a warning for anyone buying from Pitaka directly. The shipping times are stupid long. I ordered my blue MagEZ Pro on 10/4 and still don’t have it. The thing has been in my city since Monday and still not delivered.

The tracking has updated once since getting to my town on Monday it went from info being submitted to USPS to getting to a sort facility on Wednesday morning and now nothing.
I used the magez on my 14 pro max for a year. Been using a $8 amazon case that looks and feels nicer on my 15 pro max. Good MagSafe, floating metal color matched buttons, etc. Don’t assume that expensive case = nice / good case. It just depends on what you like the look and feel of and there are TONS of cheap cases that are just as nice as some of the “premium” cases.
having both, I felt like the aramid on the cases don’t look as real as stuff like the watch bands. They almost look like a printed pattern and don’t reflect as dynamically as the watch band.

I have it for 14 Pro Max. It looks cool and its much cheaper, but its heavier (22g vs 29g). The fit is not that tight and Benks case scratched my iPhone frame. Any other case didn't scratch it, only Benks after more than a week of wearing. Some dirt must get under top cover and also bottom.
@ I hear the ones for the 15’s are made different?

@@MarcP5267yes, I saw it on one of review video, that phone is more comfortable to remove. But this tells me that fit will be more loose. I will not recommend Benks ArmorAir case. It's also too heavy for this type of cases.
Tee please check out the Zagg London Snap (with gray textured design). This case come with lots of features and I think it’s a sleeper case. I’ve never bother with Zagg cases but this one definitely caught my attention.
I just got this case yesterday, and so far I love it exactly what I wanted. I’ve had a few of these in the past, and this one seems the best so far. It’s easy to get off now used to be such a pain in the butt. I got the Milky Way galaxy and goes great with the titanium blue.
I had the Latercase on my S22 plus. I think it offers a fair amount of drop protection, as I had several hard drops from chest hight onto concrete or other hard surfaces. I think it is definitely far less than a more significant case though.
I have this case, however I have to disagree on the magsafe strength, this one feels even weaker compared to the non-starpeak cases they have. The Pitaka MagEZ grip I purchased from Pitaka as well falls off incredibly easy with a slight bit of force and it is easily one of the weakest magsafe cases I've used (rhinoshield, the magez pro line, ESR, heck even Apple's silicone safe has stronger magnets). Also there are some odd horizontal lines on the case which at first glance look like a quality issue, but not entirely sure what the deal is on that. Overall the case is beautiful, but the magsafe kills it for me.
Superb video Tee 👊🏻 I've been using Pitaka since my iPhone 6S Plus. Best fit yet was the Xs Max for me, oooeee. But this one looks very nice in that 1500D material. 🥃 May have to splash out on that, which in the UK is gonna cost some spondoolicans for me 😆

Damn when the case 4 came out for the iPhone 15 there was no 1500D, those minimalistic cases only came in 600D. I’m definitely gonna scoop both of those now knowing they come in 1500D. The Natural titanium phone will look amazing with the case with the Milky Way. I’ve been rockin’ with the with the pro 4 1500D.

Makes sense companies are putting obvious “recycled” branding on products now. Less people care about the actual environmental impact than care about other people’s view of them or *feeling* like they’re a good person for having something partially recycled whether or not the environmental impact is lower. (Which it very often actually isn’t)
I was wonder between this and Torras ultra slim case with magsafe. I bought Torras, cheaper but absolutely amazing… With these metal buttons and strong magsafe , for me that’s the best thing case on the market. And is 26 grams. It’s 1/3 of that price and the feeling of the case is amazing.
They actually do have the alignment magnet. I emailed them to ask about it and even included a diagram so they knew what I was referring to. They confirmed with their QC team that they do indeed have them.

Have such a case on my 12 PM. Dropped it a number of times. No damage. Not as bad as it is made out to be here.
Same here… Fusion Weaving for 13 PM. 2 years later no physical damage at all despite multiple drops on cement, gravel etc
If you use magnet paper, you can see the Pitaka MagSafe cases do have the alignment magnet even though they don’t have an imprint on the inner side.
