also, I agree if they have an option for the camera control cut out instead of the bun I think they should just make the camera control button built into the case while still having the other buttons removable for customization, especially if the camera control button as of right now only comes in black there's really no reason to make it removable and I think the camera control button in general should just not be removable on cases yk

honestly, I think I'm gonna get this case because it does have the camera control protection button and for the customization cause it's low-key kinda hard to find good looking cases with the camera control button and as somebody who doesn't use the camera control button really at all and just wants the full cover-up and protection and not the huge cut out. I'm honestly fine with this.

What's the most rugged & protective case you recommend? I need one for work. I'm deciding between Rokform, Casetify or Magbak Elite at the moment. Or is there something else that you recommend over them?

i just bought this and unfortunately dropped it from my bedside table and the screen protector cracked in one of the corners since the corners are not raised enough to protect my iphone screen. I just changed back to my clear case rhinoshield instead and replaced the screen protector.

The Anker Maggo Ultraslim 10k can be attached via magsafe whilst offing the auto charge and then connect it via cable for the fast charging so you dont have to have it seperated

Benks Prestige ArmorPro is #1 for me. Got caudabe first right off the bat. Lip is too high and makes it unwieldy. The Benks is super premium

well the sides of this are gonna yellow in time tbh. but with the desert titanium colour of the 16 pro max that is not gonna be a bad thing right, cuz the phone itself is a bit brown in colour so the yellow case is gonna add more to the aesthetics imo 😅

Paragon takes the cake for me this year. The Sheath is a really close number two. I'm just liking the back texture of the Paragon better this year.

Torras has a Ofitness 360 case that is thinner, grippier, more expensive and more beautiful than that one

The biggest problem with iPhone 16 cases it’s that most of the cases have the cutout and it’s very lazy and unfinished product and some manufacturers will charge premium prices for a unfinished cases, I have 16 pro max and I’ve got one apple silicon case and Ryan London with camera control button, in my opinion it’s a waste of money to buy any case without camera control button and you support the manufacturers to keep lazy

Mine is absolutely amazing but I gotta use mine plugged in with a rolling square in charge foldable mini cable with it attached to the back of my iPhone via mag safe. Heat dissipation is so much better, and I can get a lot of charge out of this thing on my 13 pro max! When I use it with a phone case on with just mag safe, it slow charges and heats up more. Once you use mag safe with the iphone case off, it does reach Qi2 speeds and does better, but the real trick is using a small usb c cable to lightning and attaching it via mag safe to your phone. You can use a case etc and it performs its best and I am so much more happier with this unit this way. I almost returned mine, but now that I’ve figured out the right way to use it, I’m thrilled.

I really wish that they kept the black ring around the camera on the Ghost like it was on version 1. I have the black titanium and it isn’t my cup of tea the way the clear camera ring looks, I still got one anyway because I like everything else about it.

I think it's dumb that case manufactures put a huge cutout for camera control instead of just paying a license fee or whatever and build a sapphire crystal into the case like on the Apple silicone cases. I was going to get an iPhone 16, but because of the dumb cases. I ended up just getting an iPhone 15 Pro. Which should be fine for the next 5+ years as it can do the AI, has a macro lens that I've been wanting, and has pro motion display. So pretty much future proof. Only thing is I think Apple should have put Visual Intelligence on the 15 Pro as there's no reason for it not to be there other than Apple wanting to limit the feature for the 16 models.

Love the Caudabe sheath! But I’ve been in love more with the Tineeowl case with camera button. It’s cheaper and has the same feel as the Sheath.

I agree with all of the cases, but dbrand ghost 2.0 is top tier for my number one because it fits my needs for a clear case and everyday use… but overall I love your videos Bryan 😁

Solid list! Not a big leather case guy, so those are the only ones I haven’t tried. Surprised there was no MagBak Elite or Phone Rebel Flex on the lost, though. I’ve loved the flex since it dropped, and the MagBak is unique in what it offers. Just ordered new Sheath. I’ve never been super impressed in the past, the hype always confuses me. But, going to give it another go

The Sheath has been my go to for years. Hopefully they come out with the camera control version soon, for now I’m using the Tineeowl that imo is as close as it gets to the sheath, has the camera control and for that price it’s a steal.

12:15 So far I haven’t seen any of their competitors have the balls to drop the phone in the case from a building top or launch it in the air like Mous do. When i’ll see it I’ll agree that the others protect as well or better. Until that moment i’ll stick with their case that has protected my phone and iPad on a daily basis from numerous falls For years… :-)

Tbh I had the cutout case since it got out and kept it on the phone. i got the button version one since november and my phone still was pristine, even around the camera control button… So i guess it still protect pretty good.

Tbh i prefer a simple box that i can throw off in the trash, i prefer my money used at making a better case over making a better box.

I’m so mad about Caudabe not making the sheath with new buttons for the 15 pro. I’ve been saying for forever that if it had standalone buttons it would be literally perfect.

Normally used some leather case. Will try this out for 16 pro max. I like the wireless charging in Tesla and Apple chargers.

I tried most of the ones on the list but keep going back to the Arc Pulse. Nothing like using the phone as engineers and designers intended for iPhone to be used. Cases to me defeat the purpose of edge-to-edge screen and thin bezel. 2nd favorite is the Pitaka, love it as well.

Would this Magsafe battery pack fit flush on an iPhone 16 Pro Max that has the Arc Pulse on it? Thanks if you see this.
