Speck needs to bring back the rubber grips on the back. I had that case on every phone since the iPhone 5. Really disappointed they removed the rubber on the back.
Considering picking up a Presidio grip case and the clicklock wallet. Would you recommend the wallet? I just want something to hold 2 or 3 cards for when I go to concerts, on vacation, etc when I don’t need my full wallet. No worries about it slipping off easily or anything like that? Thanks!
Really enjoyed your case video and I was able to get some good feedback from your case selection. I love speck cases. I have the same click lock presidio grip case but I chose a different colour. I was really surprised how slippery it is. Does your speck have some good grip or would you say it’s a little slippery?
Does the speck scratch the frame of your phone? I have this issue with lots of cases and have just ordered the 15 pm and as you probably heard it’s so much easier to damage…
This trend where most of the cases with port covers also have a built in screen protector is really annoying me. The only options that have the port cover and allow you to use your own screen protector seem to all have poor magsafe adhesion. Ugh
I wanted the Benks but went with phone rebel gen 5, and also a caudebe sheath. 2 cases I have never had before lol 😂, I do want the aspen it’s been on my 13 pro max for 6 months atleast. But want it for my 15 pro max down the road,
The Benks has been my favorite so far but I do love the Nomad and Speck options as well. Great video. Also, I have the Torras as well but mine has a kickstand as well. Does your version not have one?
Hey Jerad, I looked through your video from start to finish and enjoyed your review of the smartphone cases on the market, introducing me to case manufacturers I had never heard of, as I seek one to buy for my iPhone 15 Pro Max. HOWEVER, I found your video lacked details on four IMPORTANT details you missed or rarely mentioned: 1. Action Button - three case models from what I saw in your vid, did NOT have an integrated button for the Action Button, but you did NOT say so! It was missing on the Spigen (3:39), Pelican (15:09) and Popsocket (27:01). Oddly you mentioned how you liked the Action button on the Benks Kevlar (20:33) and pointed out how it had an accent colour on it. Looking at another video before I came across yours, the host mentioned how some cases with cutouts made it difficult to easily access the Action Button. Very important! 2. Button operation. You didn't mention how smoothly the buttons operated on the various cases - did you have to press hard? Were they flimsy? Did they fall out if you had to remove the case to fully clean the phone? 3. Glass protector - how many of these cases allow one to easily install and hold a third party glass protector? You talked about how well some protectors fit and even stick out, but only the Caseborn (21:11) you showed included glass protectors. 4. Durability - You stated you have been reviewing cases for a few years and preferred the Speck cases. But for the others you have trialled and used, how durable were they? Do they get rubbery, sticky, limp or soft in high heat? Do they crack or easily broken in freezing temps? How well do they stand up to abuse after a few years of use? And finally, I was hoping to see your review of well-known Peak Design mobile cases. Alas... it's not there! The company states they have sold over 30,000 iPhone 15 Pro Max cases. For others reading here, they do NOT have a button covering the Action Button, and yes, they admit it's difficult to easily access the Action Button. In summary, it seems the Speck is the best of the bunch and seems to offer more than iPhone's silicone case. I may end up purchasing that case, if I can see one in a store to look over. For the record, I have used Apple supplied iPhone silicone case covers on my iPhone 7 Pro (still in use) and my iPhone 13 Pro Max (used to shoot video) and have found them to be very durable, easy to clean, work in all weather from -40C to +40C, and adequately protected the phones when I accidentally dropped both phones a couple of times. No dents, cracked glass or other defects. They keep their shape and even though on my 7 Pro its now 6 years old, the silicone case is still in good shape. The spiegen case DOES have an action button. It’s been my go to case for years. Just switched from the 12 to 15 pro and again wrapped it in the spoegen tough armor.
You are the FIRST person I’ve seen who liked Apple’s new “fine woven” case! It feels like overpriced junk, to me, and seemingly EVERY other reviewer besides you. We’re all entitled to our opinions but you sure like a lot of cases - do you ever go, “this thing is JUNK and stay away!”? Just curious
I just don’t order from those brands. I research before buying the cases I include and say no to companies with junk cases that want to send them to me. The Fine Woven is not my favorite case Apple has made but it’s not a bad case. I do prefer the leather case more.

I love Speck cases. First used it on the 11pro and then the 12pro Max and now on a samsung s22 ultra. Never looked back, these cases are awesome.

I really like the natural titanium color, that's why I am using apples clear case. It's a bit expensive, but feels nice.
