Google earth videos are incredibly helpful with less known wine countries like Austria. Thank you for repeating the basic info again and again, it helps a lot!
Just found all these videos and just want I need. My provider in Switzerland went bankrupt in the middle of my WSET 3 studies and looking for some help to get to the finish line...so helpful and going to sign up to the portal to get full value of your revision support - thank you !
Lovely walkthrough! Not studying for Level 3 (yet), but just back from skiing in Austria, where I enjoyed Grüner veltliner and Zweigelt for the first time 👌
Very good studying for my DIP atm so found this helpful to almost 'disentangle' things Jimmy is a great communicator, like the Google maps visual also :-) 'Cin Cin' David
Great to hear! I have launched a WSET Diploma part on www.winewithjimmy.com for Unit 5 (Fortified) and am working on the Wine Production now for a soft launch in early Feb :-)
Thank you very much for your lessons! You are a perfect teacher! I cannot wait to visit your bar in London. I have visited London ever March, but it seems I miss this year. May I ask maybe a stupid question, but... What does it mean "light wine often in S/S"? I mean this "S/S". I cannot get it. Thank you!
Thank you, and thanks for your question! Blaufränkisch is not genetically the same grape as Pinot Noir, but the wines are stylistically very similar. Spätburgunder is indeed Pinot Noir.
thank you Jimmy, for being great at what you do, really helps

Thanks for the wonderful video! What about climate? It's continental. Cool or warm?
It depends which part but generally Austria has a cool continental climate, but in certain parts it is a little warmer

Very informative! Thank you for your videos! I have a question, is Blaufrankisch the same grape as Pinot Noir and Spatburgunder?
