Thanks for the video tutorial. Just notice today on the gpd win a bulge on the back side. I don't use the Win 1 that much due I have a Win 2. The Win 1 also had some battery issue some time ago and just turned of all the time, but it worked fine having the charger plugged in so was used more like a desktop computer. But today the Win 1 turned of even with charging on and yeah, something is growing inside it so I believe the battery has a tumor.
This was their first shot with the Win series. They improved a lot of stuff with the second iteration.
Thanks for the video. I was able to replace my battery which became deformed. I live in Singapore and it was easy for me to order a battery from China using Taobao.

If it makes people feel better then putting tape over the switch is proabbly a good idea and something I didn't think of at the time.
I didn't have any issues with it but I guess there's always a possibility others might.
And yes they're both me.
I have a gpd xd model, im geting a battery icon with an exclamation icon. Does that mean the battery is dead and will your battery you sell work with gpd xd.
