- The moment of truth! Sorry for leaving you all on a cliff hanger last episode. It's been a crazy few weeks but we are finally back on the road! Life is good... My fav youtubers are back on the road! I don't know why i love you guys so much. I live for overlanding roadtrips.. chasing sunrises and visiting every beach i can. I pack the subaru mini camper every chance i get but it is never enough. I just did 10 weeks up and down the nsw south coast and it was perfect. Now back to the grind, feeling my soul withering on the daily, counting down the months until next trip. Meanwhile, i will watch and dream ❤

A big congratulations on getting Nigel back on the road. Those engine first starts are very special, I've done a few and know the feeling.
Might see you out there one day, I'm hitting the road for three months next week.

A good idea would be to fit the wings and other front body parts and then take it for a two three mile drive, come back and tighten them all up again. They have a tendency to pop off if not careful. I also used stainless self locking nuts too.
Good luck and good to see it running again, that feeling when it first starts again is priceless.

Even though the aluminium body does not rust, I never drive my Landy on the beach because that's a slow death sentence for any vehicle. I highly recommend to occasionally spray the chassis (especially the back) with oil - fish oil is a great option for hard-to-get-to-places like the bottom of the doors where the metal frame sometimes rusts. So far my 25 years young vehicle has no rust at all (only a very few harmless scratches from adventurous trips - but that adds character, doesn't it?) Treat your beautiful Nigel gently in the rough and on the road, ignore the impatient tailgaiting Aussis behind you, don't add life-shortening 'power upgrades' or fat oversize tyres, then Nigel will be great company for another 40 years! 😍 Happy travelling 🌞🏖🏞🌄🏜

Great job considering no experience - amazing actually. Enjoy Nigel to the fullest !! Question plse - how many cans of spray paint did you use to paint the Landy ? That is the yellowish color only. Thanks and keep well.

What tyres are those?
We actully have two different types. The front are dunlop AT's and the rear ar continental AT's. I can't really say how good or bad hey are but they haven't punctured so I guess that's a positive. haha
So yours has been broken for six months I managed to put a new engine in mine in two months most of that was finding the engine
Thankfully engine swaps can happen in a day. haha. Not full restorations though.

Now come spend a month in sunny capricornia helping me get mine back together 🤪
