@syrup8790 People need to realize that quality is objective. Taste is subjective. There is literally nothing wrong with you guys enjoying the film. You are absolutely valid in liking it. However, it objectively fails on multiple film making levels. An example of objectively bad film making: Story is about a dog who and his boy owner. They go through trials and tribulations. Near the end, in real life, they replace the dog actor with a cat, and in the film's universe, it os played off as if it is literally the same dog, same character, and the universe doesn't even recognize that it's undeniably A CAT. Nowwwww.... You CERTAINLY can LOVE that movie. It is still bad.
I liked it as well. Didn’t take itself too seriously. Not every movie has to be an art house project. Some can just be fun bubblegum movies. But I love that people do expect more from entertainment, if the entertainment industry is going to make big bucks. Then ppl are going to have high demands.
No one is criticizing this movie for not being an art house film, though. I’m personally criticizing it for not picking a lane and sticking to it. Either it’s a gritty revenge film or a self-aware cheesy remake that’s meant to be a comedy. The movie tries to do both and it fails, in my opinion. But it’s obviously perfectly OK to enjoy and like the film.
Thank you. I probably could have made the video without the spoilers, but these movies aren't exactly Fight Club, I don't think (sort of) spoiling their predictable endings really ruins anyone's viewing experience.
@@BigFilmRev ehh I have to disagree there bud, the classic roadhouse anyway, older movie “classics” like 80s Roadhouse can/will/should be watched at least once
Sure. What I meant was, you know how these movie will end. Soft spoilers on a TH-cam video won’t exactly ruin the films for you. I agree the original is a classic with a lot of charm, as said in the video.
So because you didn't enjoy it ? It illustrates what's wrong with movies and just makes every remake bad ? No it dosent it's just subjective You didn't enjoy it and that's fine But don't shit on it when a lot of people loved it It's people like you that are ruining films and why they pander
Am I weird, I really liked the Roadhouse Remake...
nah, I liked it also

You are a weirdie, weirdo weird weird weirdo!
I'd rather fight Conor McGregor than watch him act again.
yeah, but his weirdo bad acting smiling grows on you lol
Roadhouse is so good, what are you talking about?
As soon as Connor McGregor appeared in the trailer this film went on the ‘films I’ll never watch’ list.
It would have been cooler and made more sense if Dalton got with the club owner instead of the random doctor he had no chemistry with and barely saw
You forgot one other great part of the original road house. SAM FUCKING ElLLIOT
The worst thing was the fight scene with what's his name at the end.. Well, all the fight scene with what's his name..
Well the new Road House had nothing to do with the original. The original is an all time classic. But the new one was super fun as well. 😄
Conor McGreggor was the funniest part of this movie. I enjoyed it for what it was.
Original Roadhouse was bad......but I thought deliberately campy and not meant to be taken serious in any way.
I thought the remake was great, felt ridiculous and fun just like the original
Money? Yep.
Many people liked this movie, me included.
They out of ideas
Good video, sucks it needs spoilers. This movie (roadhouse remake) is good/ok definitely not worth theatrical release
