well god damn. Since this game came out this race has haunted me. Finally gave up and searched a tune....NITROUS. Never put it on my cars....never considered it on my cars....turns out....this race is the one that requires it. Never understood why as tight as I would get my tunes....computer would fly by me. So lame....installed Nitrous...Won the first try lmao.

Did you use the nitro? I found this really easy once I got the upgrades right. The other cars are darned fast though and you really have to drive fast.

New to this game, tried the initial set up- didn’t work & can’t unlock nitro until you unlock Extreme parts from tune shop until your collectors level 50! Which means you must of left this a lot later in the game..
Yup - that was part of my problem when I first did this challenge. In the first video, I did manage to win but it was very, very hard without nitrous. Knowing what I know now, I'd have left this one and come back to it.
With out knowing exactly what performance parts you purchased I can't get my mini under 465 pp also the manual gear settings even though my set up is exactly like what you see, tge ratio don't match up.
I pretty much cover that in the video. Customizable transmission to set the gear ratios, nitrous for the boost, sports air cleaner and silencer, Bore Up, High Lift Camshaft, High Compression Pistons, Weight reduction Stages 1, 2, & 3. 00:27 - Car choice and the all important car tuning settings - It's all i the there my friend ;)
Do you have the fully customisable gearbox? Otherwise it should just be a case of setting it as per the adjustment settings in the video. I have no idea why you would not be able to match them.
@playstationracer67 yeah, I just bought it. The mph numbers won't go the same as yours. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Great video by the way and thanks for reply.

I just did it,i only installed nitrous,i was having a really hard time,i didn't realize you could use nitrous 😂

Nitrous is key but you can win without it if you are fast and lucky.

On update 1.49 I did it in 3:14
There is no difficulty in this race when u use nitrous lol
Correct, nitrous is key in this one. You can do it without, but nitrous makes this super easy.

I have not run this lately but I found it pretty easy with nitrous.
how does anyone know what tuning parts you've bought though ?
I show the tuning page which shows what parts I have bought. Just pause the video on the tuning page and you will see what I have bought and fitted.
Btw, the tuning page is also chapter marked in the video description to enable you to jump straight to it.

There must be a very subtle difference between the two cars, or the PP rating has been changed by PD slightly for some reason in a more recent update.
