Set a Parametric Family with geometric and parametric Drivers with a Geometry Nodes Group in Blender

In CAD and BIM software used by architects and engineers, the concept of family refers to a set of objects that share a common design, while allowing variations for each occurrence, based on geometric drivers, such as the corners of a panel, or parametric drivers, such as its thickness. This enables standardized design of non-standard objects. In Blender, Geometry nodes enable similar behavior to be mimicked, thanks to the notion of group, which allows a same set of nodes to be shared between several objects, with inputs specific to each of these objects.
