For most of this video I was thinking about how ridiculous and terrible this woman was, but by the end I did feel pity for her. She desperately needed medical attention and was refused even when she broke down and asked to be taken to a hospital. Looking at her gaunt face and swollen feet...I'm sure it was a horrible way to die. I was first made aware of this case through Caitlin Doughty's video from Ask a Mortician and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about this craziness. I'm sorry for her suffering, I hope she's at peace. But this is what you get with cults. You mess up so much with people's mind that there's not turning back. She manipulated them and they obey, that's it. A cult leader is a criminal, they damage so many lives. As for the mental help that she clearly needed, the family is guilty. As soon as she started to have hallucinations she had to be hospitalized and treated by doctors. I only see a bunch of criminals and neglecters who didn't get any condemn from justice. It’s by far not new, it’s rebadged with a mix of Buddhism,Hindu, eastern philosophy, theosophy. Many of these things turned out to be esoteric rather than ethereal. So add some alcoholism and mental illness to all that.
