Hi from Toronto. My dad was a janitor at Apotex in the early 2000s. He liked Barry and said he always greeted him by name.
I think it’s super weird that all of their personal belongings were in the home when it was demolished - that makes me think family was involved.

You are the only one on here so far to get your hunches close to who did it,
Armchair lady got the detail So Wrong at the very End about Barry not going anywhere on Thursday, Barry worked every single Day and in fact as you would know he worked very late into the evenings until 8pm, Armchair lady messed that detail up
Plus she got the Role of the Parents wrong too, Honey had her favorite Child and Barry was tuff parent
This Armchair Lady read to scripts picked and chose what she wanted and Edited to her guessing game of what happened and Failed Big Time

Me too. Even family photos still in frames when the house was demolished. That’s just not normal for any family. You would at least get someone to go and get their personal things from the house if you couldn’t go in there yourself. What about their personal furniture? Honey still had her personal desk sitting near a window when the house was demolished. Why wouldn’t you want your Mum’s desk. It’s just weird.

You mentioned earlier that something was off about him at the eulogy (am I remembering correctly?) I didn’t notice anything but would love to hear more detail about that.
Oddly enough, just yesterday I was wondering how to reach Apotex for a very personal reason - I take a certain medication, and Apotex is the only manufacturer that makes a generic that’s effective for me. The company holds a special place in my heart for that reason.

As you say, it's bizarre that in this day and age that crimes can still go unsolved.
The fact that the swimming pool room's camera hadn't been working for years, tells me that there was intimate knowledge of house.
So either that person who personally knew them did it, or someone they personally knew (and spent time in their house) relayed that information to the hitman.
The police pooh-poohing information by neighbours and not fingerprinting scene etc, as well as jumping to a clearly irrational conclusion, based on the crime scene, is either criminal in itself or just downright suspicious.
Thank you for your videos Brooke, I always look forward to the next one as soon as I have finished watching!

And,,,that house should have remained "UP" until this "DOUBLE HOMICIDE" was solved!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Yes,,,money "TALKS"!!!
How embarrassing to be a "Canadian" because of the Ontario Police Department!!!
    "SHAME ON THEM"!!!
"High profile" Double murders like this could have been easily solved by "pre-schoolers"!!! No Joke!!! But absolutely an "INSIDE" job! For such a massive home like this, the "killers" had to know the layout, the Shermans routines, and that there was NO cameras in the pool room. We actually can't believe the Sherman's didnt have top-notch "Security"!! They had enough money to hire a whole police force to protect them!!! WOW!!!

Should I weigh in on this? Well.. I usually keep personal matters to myself but screw it. I'm from Toronto and I have heard Barry Sherman be mentioned in passing before. Now don't take anything I say as gospel because it's only unconfirmable grapevine information. For starters I didn't really know who Barry Sherman was until recently, but he did supposedly have a history with my family and people I know. Many people I know say "there wasn't a single day that asshole wasn't in court, suing someone's ass over trivial matters, and he made most of his wealth that way as opposed to actually making medicine". I can't confirm this but that's the general vibe I get. Generally I tell people "don't worry I'm not Barry Sherman" whenever I mention stuff like signing contracts or anything people could do that would require litigation in the event of misconduct. Needless to say from my experience, mentioning the Shermans by name in Toronto's Jewish communities has a tendency to raise eyebrows, with some remarking that he and his wife were weird, and deserved to die. Probably doesn't make investigations easier, but let's just say he was a covertly vilified individual, and now that he's gone people there are more open about their distaste for him and what he may or may not have done.
But all in all, I can't really have an opinion on Barry Sherman because I never met him personally, and I guess it just sounds like all I'm hearing are the waves he left in my community. Nothing I really have control over, so I'd rather not get involved.

I guess his own circle know him better. His cousins went on air to air his dirty laundry : how they were scammed by him after THEIR father helped him in every way. On Barry's death, he still had hundreds of litigation against all kinds of parties including government and police. If you look at my recent comment, you'll see how he started his fortune, how clever he was and how he didn't care to make enemies as long as it benefited him.

Once you said that the Judge had just ruled on the Winter cousin's lawsuit a week prior, that made him the biggest suspect in my eyes. Also knowing that the Winter cousins had drug problems, meaning that they were perhaps a bit less refined. It sounds like Barry hadn't been the warmest to them, even with his financial support (which was infinitely more than he ever owed them).

You’re wrong. Barry actually STOLE the fortune his cousins were entitled to inherit and let those kids on their own. All he did was throw them crumbs knowing that he had betrayed the promise he made to his late uncle.

I think it’s not super unusual for that size house. One in each bedroom, one in the kitchen and maybe one in the basement and the pool room itself. And there was one in the entryway because that’s where they found Honey’s phone.

Those are pretty common for houses in that area
