Mikita makes a massager for horses. It’s basically a battery powered jigsaw with a thumb instead of a blade. From a professional stand point, if they work use them. Just bare in mind that they basically are really good at over stimulating an area to the point your brain stops listening for a little while. Post activity muscle soreness, I have found that jumping on n a snow bank for no more then a minute, followed with warm not hot shower works great for clearing out the metabolic waste. If you have one of those nagging pains chances are it’s from the way you are using your body, to an old habit from a past injury. I truly enjoy your videos, all the best

Thanks AvE for another Vid-jay-oh. One of my most favourite channels on the U-Tubes. Love your humour, insight and hilarious campfire philosophy rants. Can't wait for another "Cave Man TV" or "Ask Uncle BumbleFark" episode.
Just thought I'd point out that I couldn't see any balance charging on that battery. I mean it wasn't clear as I couldn't see the connection of the PCB under the Kapton tape to the actual 18650 cells. I would suspect the PCB on on the battery is just a simple protective circuit that does over voltage and under voltage cut off and possibly over currect/short circuit cut off too. A balance charge PCB for 2 Li-ion cells in series would have to have 3 wires connected to 2 cells and resistors that get very hot so probably it wouldn't be mounted right on the end of the battery if it's balance charge. Hopefully it's just 2 cells in parallel so it only needs a protective circuit as it probably is. Just thought I'd mention that in the last couple of years a couple of tools I've torn down actually had Li-ion cells in series with only 2 wires connected to them, a protective circuit and no balance charging. It's worth checking as these circuits I've tested seem to allow one cell that is out of balance to over charge to 4.3V or slightly more before cutting out and then the other cells to not fully charge (when they are out of balance). The more unbalanced cell packs age with more usage, the more they get out of balance leaving cells more undercharged and one over charged. The fix I've found for these two tools with that craptacular circuit design is to either solder a cheap ebay balance board that has 3 wires connected to the 2 cells, although it needs a fair bit of extra space, an extra heat sink in the resistors and a low current (1A) or less 5V USB wall wort as 2A is too much and the balance board resistors over heats and can't keep up when bleeding off the over charged cell. Or the other solution in a small space I've done is solder a 3 pin connecter on a 2 cell in series battery and then use a home make connecter with 2 pin molex conector to connect to my 18650 battery charger and charge each cell one at a time so it makes sure it safely charges each cell to 4.2V. I've found this poor unbalanced charge design on an Aldi 5 cell in series battery pack, a chinesium purple air duster (3 cells in series) and a Moza MX2 phone gimble (2 cells in series).

Ducked backwards to avoid the flailing binder and tweaked my back and sciatica began a few weeks later. Should have let it hit me in the face. Gabapentin helped immensely and it pretty much went away after 11 months of agony. Bending over touching my toes with my ass against the wall and sleeping on the side the sciatica was on helped too. Ya know In my experience with nearly the same model, she'll handle a good bit more voltage. Original 8v was pretty un-choochin. Tested 12v and that was pretty choochin, motor would jump around on the bench a bit on start up from the torque. Tested 20v and the poor little motor took off from the bench spinning in all directions... maybe over chooched. Back to 12v then, had a 3s lipo that fit right in the handle. Sure I had to cut some vents, make a heat sink for the motor, up the wire gauge, and use a bigger speed controller... But who among us hasn't spent a solid afternoon modifying perfectly acceptable consumer goods into something that should be kept out of reach of children and might double as an air chisel in a pinch.

Ive got the same Knipex pliers, those things are very well made. The Double Trouble attachment looks to be an improvement over the old Swedish Back massagers.

I had a pair for about 6 years untill it mysteriously dissapeared the same time one of our traveling contractors moved on. I got a set of Williams channel locks as a temporary replacement, they do the job most days but they just don't feel right after using a proper tool for years.

Has anyone ever heard of VBW Waggon (W. Germany) chanel lock sort of pliers? I got a pair at a yard sale years ago and they sure seem great.

I got to pick an employee "prize" for hard work and what have you. I chose one of these. Similar but the control and charging are opposite the working end rather than in the handle. Mine seems to be a little more skookem on the mechanical parts as well as have a LOT more to the circuitry complete with a 26 pin microcontroller and a couple dozen surface mount components. Mine actually speeds up a little when you use more pressure but I don't think there's a hall effect sensor on the motor (lack of wires) - probably a current sense or something.
Same attachments with a dedicated 2A USB-C wall plug.
I like it actually. I messed up my back a year ago. Many chiropractic and PT visits later and I'm back at work.
The chiropractor uses a pro version of one of these maybe for a couple minutes along with a LOT of skill, manipulating muscles and such. The hospital version of chiropractor is a little different (in my limited experience) than the storefront version, plus it gets covered by Medicaid.
Kind of hard to reach your own lower back with this but it's nice to have at home. It works IMO.
Thanks for taking yours apart. I think it was about half the cost of the one I got.

That “knit” line isn’t what is it nor should it be there. That’s from crappy mold processing. Either the part was injected too quickly or the mold temperature was to cold and it began to solidify before it was fully packed. I have customers that are very picky about part finish. Plastic processing is a real art
